Not this scrap roll of tape giving me a whole new personality!

Was I influenced? Absolutely.
Do I regret it? Absolutely not. She’s cute. Now, what should I do with it?

This little junk journal spread had me in my FEELS. The second I started journaling, all these little memories came flooding back… the AIM days of screen names and away messages, flip phones, side kicks, burned CD’s and the OUTFITS!!

Of course, I had to make this spread interactive!! I added a little mouse and cursor, put those tiny “X” buttons in the top-right corners of the windows to make everything look like an actual computer screen, AND tucked the CD into its own little CD case. THE DETAILS!! I had way too much fun putting all these little pieces together!

So many memories, so many ideas, and SO MANY little details to play with. This Y2K pack was seriously a dream to create with. Eileen, you’re WINNING with this one!!

Head to @littleeileenthings site to shop for some goodies and use code MEDJOY10 at checkout for a little discount!

Have fun journaling! ✌🏽 by @dearpaperbunny

Journal With Me
S01 Ep40
We made it, baby

Yeah, girl. we made it and I wish you could see us now.
I hope you’re proud of us because I carry you with me in everything I do and I promise, I’ll keep making you proud.

Drop a 🤍 if you’re proud of how far you’ve come.

Today spread was simple. It turns out I have a thing for blue and I never knew.

The recipe
magazine rips, washi tape, cardstock, Jean scraps

The challenge is to make something cute and cool without buying a single thing, and that’s kind of the point. Layering scraps, adding messy texture, and letting the colors work their magic. Proving that creativity doesn’t need a shopping cart. Slow and cozy crafting. Happy journaling!

Third time’s the charm. Things started feeling right at 0:19
Sometimes it takes more than one time to get to a spreading that you like. In my case, it takes three. ⭐️

The recipe of the final look
Magazine pages, target clothing tags, purple crayon wrapper, cardstock, vegan vanilla cupcake package sticker

I organize my magazine letters two ways:
1. Straight from the cut → into its designated space. No thoughts, just ✂️✂️✂️
2. The organized stash → so Future Me can organize them later.
Honestly, sometimes I just want to cut letters and other times I want to just organize them.

I found this Ahiru no Pekkle pencil box AND this plastic organizer at the thrift store. The thrift gods were actually looking out for me 😮‍💨

There is something so satisfying about a journal you can actually play with instead of just looking at it.

Interactive junk journaling = instant serotonin.
