What's it like in ghe studio when creating brand new Contortion material? It's a processes. Maybe this is why the new album ia taking so long? ๐Ÿคญ Its wild, its strange, its our creative process... Join us for a sneak peak in the minds of musicians working on a new song... Note that this new album is an undertaking that we have set upon like no other. "Epic" comes to mind, to describe both the track we're creating and the methods. ๐Ÿ˜‰ #contortionmetal #studiotime #newmusic #newsongs taken in San Bernardino, California by @deathjingles

Writing a new album takes time, patience, and a ton of inspiration. Here's some behind the scenes clips of working out new riffs and ideas ans we piece a new song together... It currently has no name... saved as "You Better Save This" ๐Ÿซก๐Ÿ˜… We're trying with so many new ideas and constructs: Odd time signatures, interesting scales and modes, and of course new influences we've yet to tap into in previous songs. Contortion, as a band, has always worked to give our fans and audience something new, unique, and diverse. We are currently toying with more progressive sounds, blending in black and death metal tricks into what we are writing. Would you like to see more of the process? Should we make more vids of how these things come together? Let us know in the comments!!! Thank you all!!! See you again soon. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค˜ #newmusic #newriffs #shred #Contortionmetal taken in Los Angeles, California by @deathjingles
