Week 5 at @de9jaspirittalenthunt was for survival showdown where I had to battle against a singer and addressed him as though he was my village people with my spoken word poetry😊💓

All glory to God for this gift and for carrying me through.

Thank you to @unofinii @unofiniii for making the instrumental

I’m so glad to share this piece as my Week 8 Quarter-Finals performance at @de9jaspirittalenthunt as it is dear to me.
This piece highlights how much we’ve let the Western culture influence the way we value our own Culture and Heritage and through this performance, I wanted to change that narrative.

2 weeks ago, we battled against each other and for our week 7 performance, we came on stage as a team to perform as “ELIXIR”.
Our Performance for week 7 at @de9jaspirittalenthunt , took the form of a stage play.

THIS PERFORMANCE IS NOT ENDORSING CHEATING OR FEMICIDE!!!
Couldn’t think of a more perfect song for this piece because “Wait For Me” by @johnnydrille hits home.

Thank you to my coaches @_teevic5 @iampatrickdominic for working tirelessly to bring this to life.

Thank you to @obongg_ette @greymartyr for always being on call to help me edit 😚❤️

Had a lovely performance at @shewriteswoman ‘s 10th anniversary, congratulations to @hauwa_ojeifo and the team!
Their 24 hours toll free mental health call line has remained the thing keeping many Nigerians in one piece, how necessary and beautiful is that?

The ephemerality of life is also in its beauty, when I was younger, I used to think a year was the longest thing and it felt like I got to be a certain age forever now, I’m gliding through the years and turning a new age so ever often.
It’s easy to forget, to stop and celebrate.

The Group COO of MRS Holdings Ltd, Queen Amina Maina turned 50 and it was an honor to lend my voice to celebrating her.

Thank you @aishamaina_ for having me and for doing such a wonderful thing for your sister.
May the years be kind to us all.

Thank you to @blackbonestheatre for bringing their art into this
