Still one of my favorites sculptures I’ve made. Catch my Breath from 2021. It means something different now that I have been doing @davidelliott10 breathwork daily for a year and a half to heal long covid. It’s helped me heal all sorts of wounds I didn’t even know I had. Letting go of layers of things hidden in my body and psyche. I’m becoming more free every day. And like @mirandajuly said “getting stronger everyday”.
Thanks to both David and @melodee_solomon teaching me this work. by @debrabaxterstudio

My show ended but there are afew pieces still available. ( update it has sold )This gal is Shift.
Obsidian heart sits on her head.
For me it’s generally better to listen to my heart and gut when making a decision. Not my brain.
Obsidian is considered as a powerful shield against negative energy, self-deprecating thought and making bad decisions. ( see its smarter than your brain)
And it’s grounding for your body and spirit.
I’ve always been a fan. by @debrabaxterstudio

Anchor from my show at @roqlarue
Bronze and smoky quartz.
I really try to be more anchored in my heart than in my head. If I really listen to my heart, it tells the truth.
In that truth I feel anchored.
Thanks to the queen who brought this peace. by @debrabaxterstudio
