Your guests won't even know you used a box mix! You can get all the cupcake decor at Amazon or at the dollar store, and these are so easy to make elevated with just a few more ingredients! Who doesn't love a party with a yummy sweet treat? 🧁 🍫

Chocolate Cupcakes:
Box cake
How to make it yours: change the oil for butter, change the water for milk, add an extra egg!

Chocolate frosting:
6 Tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2.5 cups confectioners’ sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Half espresso shot
Splash whole milk (if needed to thin out)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Stand mixer - beat butter until smooth, add confectioners’ sugar and cocoa powder beat until combined. Add the rest slowly.

2c of red wine, my favorite is two buck chuck @traderjoes!
2 bags of frozen berry medley
chopped oranges
chopped apples
2c of brandy or rum
2c spiced apple cider
1c cranberry juice
top with splash of club soda
garnish with your favorite tricks! I got mine from @amazon!

DON'T HATE ME FOR MY SECRET INGREDIENT 🤭
Listen... This isn't a vegan recipe but I think vegan cream cheese is even creamier than the real stuff when melted! It's so delicious and balances out the saltiness of the canned chicken. Two years ago today, I married my soulmate, honey bunny, everything bagel, a man I know was put on this earth just for me. 💛 @always2l84work
After returning home and feeling inspired by France, I tried my hand at a French omelette today, filled with French red pepper spread from a local Aix vineyard and French herb cheese.
What happened? Well: too many eggs, too small of a pan, and not enough butter. Egg flipped everywhere, but in the end, it still tasted delicious! Definitely not as light, fluffy, and buttery as France, but that’s real life for you as a home cook. (Please don’t look at the messy burner and stove! Haha.)
Now we’re enjoying our favorite weekend ritual,
breakfast in bed, with a spread that represents our worldwide relationship:
German pretzel pastries 🥨
Italian @dolcegabbana lemonade & @nespresso espresso 🍋☕
Our “French”-inspired omelette 🍳
And, of course, my local Virginia tea! 🫖

1. Fresh Local Figs: Who knew the South of France produced figs this luscious? Simple, sweet, and perfectly in season.

2. Sea Breeze at The Carlton: Grapefruit, vodka, and a terrace view straight out of French Kiss. The ultimate refreshing cocktail on a sunny afternoon.

3. The “French Burrito”: A warm crepe stuffed with tender pulled chicken, fresh herbs, and incredible savory sauces. Hands down one of the best things I’ve ever tasted!

4. A Classic French Omelette: Delicate, buttery, velvety, and loaded with fresh herbs and cheese. It proves that simple ingredients done right are pure perfection.

My lactose sensitivity has definitely gotten worse as I’ve gotten older 😅 Milk and cream are my absolute worst enemies, even though I can somehow still handle cheese (thank goodness!).

As I close out my Oktoberfest prep series (for this year 😉), I wanted to leave y'all with a recipe you can make at any point during the year. It's always a crowd favorite and is one of the first snacks I run out of at my annual party! This sauce has the perfect tangy, savory taste for a crisp Fall day - Pair it with a nice cold beer and of course, you need good company! 🍻 Recipe below! 👇

Homemade Currywurst
Bratwursts
1 cup of Tomato Ketchup
1/4 teaspoon of Baking Soda sounds weird but trust me
4 – 5 teaspoons of Mild Curry Powder
2 teaspoons of Smoked Paprika
1 teaspoon of Onion Powder
1/8 – 1/4 teaspoons of Cayenne Pepper
2 teaspoons of Worcestershire Sauce
4 tablespoons of Beef Broth
2 or more tablespoons of Water
Put 1 cup of tomato ketchup in a small saucepan and heat on medium low. When ketchup is warmed through, add baking soda and stir continuously until foaming subsides. Ketchup should look normal again.
Reduce heat to low. Add remaining ingredients, through to water and stir until combines. Let it simmer on the stow for 5 - 10 minutes to meld flavours.
Grill brats, slice into 1” and add to ketchup, serve with fries drizzled with mayo
** be very careful when making the ketchup - it pops and WHILE burn you! I recommend wearing gloves every time you stir and if it starts popping too much too quickly lower the heat or turn off for a min while adding ingredients
