8 strangers took a chance on us and joined us for a culinary adventure. By the end of the night, those 8 strangers became 8 friends.

Our 100 Cooks Supper club was quite the experience. @deckerdelights truly put together a one of a kind dining experience in Old Town Alexandria. The ambiance was defined by music, colors, artwork, glassware and silverware that blended together a restaurant dining experience and an intimate family dinner. This is definitely her superpower.

We were thrilled to have guests try the dishes we made on @foodnetwork 100 Cooks. And of course I had to throw in a few @tacobell treats that weren’t advertised.

Photo 2: the welcome bite and the first TB inspired surprise dish. A Mexican Pizza inspired Pani puri. Homemade semolina puffed puri filled with a refried bean puree, hatch green chilis, red enchilada sauce, shredded cheese and topped with an olive and chive, served over a schmear of sour cream. I had to lay homage to this dish as it changed over the decades.

Photo 3: Cranberry and brie flatbread. Flatbread topped with a cranberries, maracapone, brie honey and rosemary.

Photo 4: Big Mac nachos. Imagine a Big Mac in nacho form. It’s wild how on point the flavors were.

Photo 5: Butter chicken Crunchwrap. Another TB inspired surprise dish. Grilled chicken, crunchy tortilla, saffron rice, fried onions, tomatoes and butter chicken sauce.

Photo 6: Roasted cauliflower steak on a cauliflower mash, topped with cauliflower and quinoa breadcrumbs. Drizzled with chili oil.

Photo 7: Italian sausage soup. If a soup and a stew had a love child, it’s this. Super comforting, cheesy and savory.

Photo 8: Mini key lime pie. These desserts were super cute and delicious.

Not photographed were chaat dip and the Baja blast mezcal margaritas. They were consumed too fast to be captured 🤣.

Also not photographed, bottles on bottles of wine and champagne 😁.

Walking into the @foodnetwork kitchen as Home Cook number 63, I never imagined I’d make it all the way to the Top 10 among 100 of the best home cooks in America. Every challenge pushed me, every cook inspired me, and every moment became part of a dream I’ll never forget.

I’m walking away with lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and a heart full of gratitude.

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing casting team who believed in me @itskylejeff @totallyjovialcody Lando Entertainment, and Food Network for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime. Thank you to our incredible judges, @guarnaschelli and @nick.digiovanni —I learned so much from both of you throughout this journey. And thank you to our phenomenal host, @terrycrews - whose energy, encouragement, and heart made every challenge even more special.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who believed in me, supported me, and cheered me on every step of the way. This may be the end of one chapter, but it’s only the beginning of what’s next.

About a year and a half ago, I got a casting call and never heard anything after. Life moved on, and I assumed the opportunity had passed.

Then in October, I got another call saying I was still in finalist consideration. I didn’t think much of it until a week before filming, when they called and told me to pack my bags.

The whole experience felt surreal. One minute I was cooking in my own kitchen, and the next I was standing on a Food Network set alongside 99 other incredibly talented home cooks.

If I’m being honest, I carried a lot of imposter syndrome throughout the competition. I constantly looked around wondering if I truly belonged there among so many amazing cooks.

But what I’ll remember most isn’t the competition itself—it’s the people. Hearing everyone’s stories, learning about their journeys, and realizing how different paths led all 100 of us to the same room at the same time.

It’s crazy to think that without this opportunity, our paths probably never would have crossed. Yet for a brief moment, we all got to share this unforgettable experience together.

So grateful for every conversation, every lesson, every friendship, and every person I met along the way. Still a little in disbelief that I get to say I cooked on a Food Network stage.

What a blessing. I’m really on TV, The Food Network!! It’s like a childhood dream come true 🥹😭! To go from photography to food content and TV I’m so overwhelmed with gratitude. God is too good, if you feel him call you to something greater, don’t be afraid. Trust him and let him guide your steps. Meeting all these amazing people from different walks of life was the greatest part of this journey, memories that will forever last in my heart. Thank you @foodnetwork !! It’s our time homecooks!!!!

It was such an honor to be able to bring indigenous cooking to the competition! I met some of the most amazing and talented home cooks as well as the nicest human beings.

As a Native American, First Nations, Mohawk woman I don’t normally see a focus on indigenous cooking, ingredients or culture and I am so thankful I had this opportunity to share.
