You can know exactly why you people-please, overthink, procrastinate, or sabotage opportunities and still find yourself doing the same things. And that’s where I think a lot of personal development conversations fall short. We spend so much time trying to understand ourselves that understanding becomes the destination. But awareness is only one part of change. At some point, ‘why do I do this?’ has to turn into ‘what am I going to do about it?’ Because knowing your patterns and changing them  are two completely different things. by @deee.franklin
This is NOT an anti-therapy post. After nearly 20 years of navigating panic disorder through medication and talk therapy, hypnosis helped me understand myself in a way I hadn’t experienced before. I finally recognized my people-pleasing and the life I thought I was supposed to want vs the life I actually wanted for what they were: subconscious programming. Within six months of starting hypnosis, I’d weaned off my medication and I haven’t needed it since. Therapy has its place, and this is just my personal experience. But sometimes understanding your patterns and actually changing them require different approaches. And that’s a huge part of why I do what I do today. 🤍 DISCLAIMER: This is my personal experience, not medical advice. Hypnosis is not a substitute for prescribed medication or medical care. Always consult your healthcare provider before making changes to your medication. by @deee.franklin
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t figuring out what you want. It’s figuring out why you keep getting in your own way. You can have the vision, the goals, the motivation, and all the self-awareness in the world… and STILL find yourself falling back into the same patterns. Because knowing what you want and actually being able to move toward it are two very different things. And this is why hypnosis just hits ✨ It’s not about becoming someone else. It’s about working through the subconscious beliefs, patterns, and programming that’s keeping you from becoming who you actually want to be. by @deee.franklin

The Lunar New Year is an invitation to begin again — without the pressure of January 1st. No resolutions. No forcing. Just a chance to land in your body and let this next chapter unfold from a place of softness. Join me for Embodied Becoming: A Hypnotic Sound™ experience to welcome the year in an embodied way. 📍 The Wellness Den · Manhattan Beach 🗓 Sunday, February 15 · 6PM 🔗 Link in bio to reserve your spot by @deee.franklin
There’s something about the sacred time between setting up for an event and facilitating that fills my entire body with peace. I enjoy spending these moments cleansing and connecting with my instruments calling upon my angels, spirit guides, and ancestors — preparing my vessel to become a soft, grounded landing space for those who will soon enter the room. It’s quiet. It’s intentional. And this pause, before any sound begins, feels like a quiet prayer in motion. 🙏🏽✨🤍 📸: @amelie_e_uchiike ID: A carousel of images of a Hypnotic Sound™ event preparation ritual, including cleansing practices and sound healing instruments by @deee.franklin

One year of AMRA LIGHT. 75 sound baths. 20 private events. 10 corporate clients. 9 private clients. A year of learning, building, stretching, and trusting the vision even when it felt uncomfortable. Grateful for every room, every moment, and every person who trusted this work. Thank you, 2025. I’m proud of what was built here. And to think, this is just the beginning. 🤍✨ by @deee.franklin
Five years ago today, my life changed in ways I couldn’t fully understand at the time. I’ve done a lot of healing since then and still, this morning my subconscious brought up an old story via an incredibly vivid dream. Not to reopen an old wound that has healed but to remind me of something important. Our subconscious minds have no concept of time. They hold onto emotional memories long after we think we’ve “moved on” and they have this amazing way of resurfacing when we’re standing at a threshold… when we’re being asked to expand, to claim more, or to trust our worth on a deeper level. Lately I’ve been navigating questions of worthiness in my work/biz life. And it makes complete sense that an old pattern, one where I felt misunderstood, questioned, or needed to prove myself, would come knocking on my door just one last time. The difference now is that I don’t answer the same way. The dream wasn’t about the past. It was a reminder of how far I’ve come. It was about remembering that I no longer need to beg to be seen, understood, or believed. Old patterns don’t resurface to pull us backward. They surface when you’re about to experience a life far greater than you ever thought you could. ✨ by @deee.franklin
a woman who protects her peace, is a woman who knows how to provide it. 🤍 by @deee.franklin
The end of the year doesn’t always feel like sparkles and champagne. For many of us, it brings reflection… Pressure… Grief… Relief… Exhaustion… Hope… Disappointment… Sometimes all at once. It’s the quiet weight of everything you carried. The goals you hit. The ones you didn’t. The version of you that simply survived it all. And sometimes the nervous system doesn’t care that there’s a “new year” coming. It’s just tired. It wants to exhale. It just wants to feel safe. If your body still feels like it’s in survival mode… If you’re pushing through but feeling depleted… If you’ve been holding far more than anyone realizes… I see you. You’re not behind. You’re human. 🤍 I’m opening a very limited number of private 1:1 virtual nervous-system reset sessions for those who feel called to regulate before setting new intentions. Not talk therapy. Not forcing positivity. Just somatic, subconscious support for burnout, anxiety, freeze, and overwhelm. These are the lowest private rates I’ve ever offered, available only for this end-of-year reset window. If you feel the pull, you can book directly through the link in my bio or message me “RESET” and I’ll send you the details. And if not, let this be your reminder to be gentle with yourself right now. ✨ by @deee.franklin
