What a great morning we've had to start this week with some truly amazing #MacroMonday finds! 🤩🧡

This morning, we found the 'mythical' Pipehorse! 😍
Right under the boat, in the sand, with its little tail wrapped around a piece of algae, while looking like a leaf itself! 🤣

Ever wondered how we monitor the health of our reefs and track the ocean’s top predators? 🦈 It all starts here on land!

Our amazing volunteers took a trip to the local fish market to collect fish scraps. Why? To prep the bait for our BRUVS (Baited Remote Underwater Video Systems)! 🎥

By recycling these scraps, we can safely attract and study apex predators like sharks and rays, gathering essential data to protect Carriacou's marine ecosystems.

This is what hands-on conservation training looks like—it’s not always glamorous, it smells pretty strong, but it’s incredibly rewarding!

Just when you think your dive is kinda... meh, and there's not much to see...

Here comes the Ocean to give you an amazing beautiful surprise! 😍💙

🔸️Did you know?

🤸 They do happy flips – Mobula rays launch up to 6 feet out of the sea, belly-flopping to communicate or show off.

🎉 They throw summer raves – Hundreds gather off the Dominican Republic each spring in one of the Caribbean’s biggest ray blockbusters.

🦐 Don’t call them horned – Those “horns” unroll like party blowers to funnel plankton into their mouths.

🪶 Big wings, no sting – They’re harmless filter feeders with 10-foot wingspans but zero teeth, stingers, or attitude.

🧼 They hit the reef spa – Mobulas hover over Caribbean corals while tiny cleaner fish nibble parasites off their skin.
