It’s time to share my story although I feel like I’m still evolving, asking questions, learning more each day…

It’s not always easy sharing that I talk to animals, plants and beings within the unseen realms but I find it more important than ever to normalize this possibility.

I was born with one foot in the magical and one foot in the practical. Trying to fit into societal expectations let me to study wildlife biology, spend years doing population studies, outdoor education, developing a love for native gardening but I was never satisfied or fit in.

I’ve always felt mission driven…

To co-exist with our wild neighbors, inspire others to be kind… to work on behalf of the animals and Gaia…

When I felt lost as to what my mission was, I asked the Universe to guide me which led to me where I am today.

It’s taken me years to navigate fear and “am I crazy” thoughts but the more I share, the more people reach out saying they too have had experiences, have gone through a similar journey, or are just now beginning to open up to new possibilities.

To those who reach out and share, I thank you… because it’s given me courage to keep going and to keep sharing!

This is my most current version of my story, but I’m sure it’ll keep unfolding 🌲🥰🧚🐝🦊🦄

for the oil infusion I used a mix of apricot kernel oil, sweet almond oil, and jojoba oil ✨ it won’t be ready for another few weeks but I’ll report back & let you know how my skin likes it!!

The way I receive information and share it has been quietly changing over the past year and I have been resisting the process the whole way.

When I decided to share bear consciousness with you, he refused to let me speak on his behalf. I tried to use my old ways of receiving, understanding then sharing and he would cut me off immediately.

He only wanted to speak to YOU directly. Not with me in the middle. That’s the main difference between what I’ve done in the past and where we are going as a channel for animals and nature.

All beings I work with have been asking for this kind of transmission and way of connecting with you and for me to share the process. It takes a skill I haven’t mastered and a level of letting go of control that is different for me.

So here we are. Post one of many.

In many ways, I’m grateful. I got comfortable with my connections and now am being pushed to go deeper and expand myself more which always comes with stumbles and bumbles. Being a forever student is so humbling. I love it.

OUR GOAL WITH THESE CONVERSATIONS

We want to look beyond the headlines and human perspective to explore these situations from the bear’s and the landscape’s perspective.

Questions we are exploring:

What are the root causes that may be obvious or not?

What do we need to know from a bigger picture perspective?

Are there innovative ways humanity can help that haven’t been considered?

When we bring the voices of animals and land to the table, we gain another perspective and potentially new pathways forward.

OUR HOPE:

As animal and nature communicators, our intention is not to replace science, wildlife management, or the expertise of those working on the ground.

It is to open the conversation wider.

What happens when we consider the perspectives of the bears and the land alongside our own?

Could listening reveal something we haven’t considered?

Could it inspire new questions, new solutions, or new ways forward?

We may not have all the answers, but we believe that when all voices have a place at the table, we create more possibilities for understanding, coexistence, and meaningful change.

Educational Information:

A “problem bear” is generally a bear that has lost its natural fear of humans and repeatedly enters human-occupied areas or causes damage while seeking food.

The biggest concerns are:

Habituation:

The bear becomes less wary of people, homes, vehicles, and even loud noises.

Food Conditioning:

The bear learns that humans = easy meals. Garbage, bird feeders, pet food can all become attractants.

Conflict Behavior

Repeated property damage or behavior that creates a direct public safety concern can lead to wildlife management intervention.

Once a bear becomes strongly food-conditioned, relocation may no longer be a viable solution. Relocation is one option, however, in some cases, bears that pose an ongoing safety risk are ultimately euthanized and bears often return back to their original location after being relocated. by @deep.root.connections

in the week leading up to my session with Kara from @deep.root.connections, I spent a lot of time sitting with my tree, feeling into what else wanted to be asked.

on the morning of, I went out to connect with my tree more time, and 2 additional questions came to me:

1. I realize I’ve been referring to you in the feminine, but is that how you identify?

2. I have a feeling I’m meant to turn one of your branches into a wand…would you like that?

right off the bat on our call (without me saying anything), Kara shared with me that she likes to refer to the trees as they would like to be presented, and that my tree was wanting to come forward as the masculine. so that’s why you’ll notice Kara saying “he” throughout the video

and as for the second question about the wand…I’ll let the video speak for itself on that one. again, I didn’t mention anything about it to her, so you can imagine my full body chills when the idea of wand was brought up!!! by @deep.root.connections

According to this week’s guest, Kara Daniels, that feeling may not be as random as we think. 🌳

In one of our favorite conversations we’ve ever had on the podcast, Kara takes us into the world of tree communication, animal communication, nature spirits, fairies, gnomes, Gaia, and the consciousness that she experiences within the Earth itself.

And one of the things we loved most was how simple she made connection feel.

Set the intention.
Pay attention.
Notice what you’re drawn toward.

And begin approaching nature as a relationship rather than simply the scenery around you.

We originally recorded this conversation some time ago, but BOTH of us have said that we genuinely have never looked at trees the same way since. 😂

So we knew we had to bring this one back.
