in the week leading up to my session with Kara from @deep.root.connections, I spent a lot of time sitting with my tree, feeling into what else wanted to be asked.

on the morning of, I went out to connect with my tree more time, and 2 additional questions came to me:

1. I realize I’ve been referring to you in the feminine, but is that how you identify?

2. I have a feeling I’m meant to turn one of your branches into a wand…would you like that?

right off the bat on our call (without me saying anything), Kara shared with me that she likes to refer to the trees as they would like to be presented, and that my tree was wanting to come forward as the masculine. so that’s why you’ll notice Kara saying “he” throughout the video

and as for the second question about the wand…I’ll let the video speak for itself on that one. again, I didn’t mention anything about it to her, so you can imagine my full body chills when the idea of wand was brought up!!!

What if the trees around you know more about you than you realize? 🌳✨

In this conversation, @deep.root.connections shares that she experiences trees as being able to read our energy, our soul frequency, and even aspects of our deeper path.

For her, connecting with trees has become a way of asking questions like:

“What am I here for?”
“What is my next step?”
“How can I better serve?”

And I love this because it opens up such a different way of thinking about nature.

Instead of seeing trees as something passive in the background, what if we started relating to them as conscious beings we could actually build a relationship with?

Maybe the next time you’re walking outside, you don’t need to force anything or “make” a connection happen.

Maybe you simply notice which tree you’re drawn to… and get curious about why. 🌿

There is still so much magic around us… if we choose to see it. ✨

One of the things we loved most about this conversation with @deep.root.connections was how hopeful it felt.

Yes, there is so much happening in the world that can pull us into fear, heaviness, or hopelessness. But Kara reminded us that we also get to choose what frequency we contribute.

We can reconnect with the natural world.
We can notice the trees, the animals, the unseen support around us.
We can choose wonder.
We can choose love.

And we can remember that awakening doesn’t always have to feel heavy or serious. Sometimes it looks like allowing ourselves to believe in a little more magic again. 🌳🧚✨

Apparently… we all need a tree guide. 😂🌳✨

One of the things that completely expanded our minds during this conversation with @deep.root.connections was the idea that trees aren’t simply part of the scenery around us.

According to Kara, every individual tree has its own unique perspective, personality, energy, and even specific gifts or “medicine” it can offer.

Which naturally led us to ask… can a tree actually become a guide for you in the same way we think about spirit guides or angels?

This conversation genuinely changed the way both of us look at trees, and we have definitely never walked through nature quite the same way since. 😂
