Come and see One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest at the Athenaeum Theatre (perfect venue for this show).

Thank you @performingartswaawards for this recognition, everyone at @blackswanstc and the entire team of Never Have I Ever. It’s lovely to receive this award as an ensemble. This is what theatre is about. Some of us coming together to tell a story, and some of you coming together to receive it, and hopefully walking away feeling a little closer to each other. by @deep.sroa

Thank you @franklinphotography_ for taking pictures of me. I think you may have also captured some stories within the pictures. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations as well as your easeful skill in your work. Couldn’t be happier 💚 by @deep.sroa

So here we are!

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be playing Kas in the upcoming @blackswanstc production of Never Have I Ever; the debut play from @theguiltyfeminist podcast creator and author @dfdubz. And also, my professional theatre debut!

It’s an honour to be directed by Kate Champion and play alongside the incredibly talented @emrosebren as Jacq, Will O’Mahony as Tobin, and @ratidzomambo as Adaego.

This show is funny, dynamic, and will provoke, entertain and leave you wanting more. It’s gonna be a hoot!

Premiering at @statetheatrecentre’s Heath Ledger Theatre this June.

It was a pleasure and a privilege to work alongside the entire team of @truth_to_power_film. I’m grateful to @jaimee_peasley, @rwhyde and @tim_dean_director for the opportunity to work with @mylespollard as my first professional co-actor! What a dream! Hoping the work translates well for the audience. by @deep.sroa

Couldn’t find the entire video, but Challa is one of the closest songs to my heart. It’s such a privilege to perform it every time. The ever so green song by the ever so green living legend @gurdasmaanjeeyo 🙏💚 #challa by @deep.sroa

I am not much of a fiction reader. In fact, I have only ever read one novel in my life. My natural pull has always been towards books that invoke insight, contemplation and self reflection. I have come across many books that have invoked this in me, and have pointed towards a higher, deeper truth. Books I have felt to be literally ‘alive’. One such book that had an energy of its own was ’The Power of Now’ by Eckhart Tolle. Not only was this book alive, it changed (literally) the entire course of my life, and it has stayed with me since. Do you have a book that has played a pivotal role in your life? by @deep.sroa

I love this poem by Naomi. For me, every experience we have is guiding us towards more love, and hence more kindness. Kindness to me comes from a place of love. When we are fearful, we cannot be kind. And love comes from a place of understanding. An understanding that at our core, we are all simply love. How do you see kindness? How have you become more kind with time? 💚 by @deep.sroa
