It’s crazy that last year around this time I was just starting my first job as a CRNA.

Time does truly move so fast.

Some days and weeks are long, and I’m still climbing my way out of student loan debt, but I thank Allah everyday for guiding me to a career in anesthesia.

At this point I’ve impacted countless lives both in and outside of the operating room, and in a way I feel like we’re just getting started 😤

Keep pushing towards your goals it will be worth it.

Starting the year off with the most unconventional mix between relaxation and grief. Indonesia was one for the books.

As a person who finds peace in planning for the future, losing someone close to you has a way of really bringing you all towards way back to the present and magnifies just how fragile and short our lives are.

Let’s focus more on the things that MATTER, so much noise and distraction to navigate through.

End of a Chapter.

Walked stage today as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

So proud of my cohort and all the blood sweat and tears we shared over the last 3 years.

Becoming a CRNA is not easy, and should not be. We have people’s lives in our hands daily, and we’re trained to be independent providers who create, implement and modify anesthesia plans to fit our patients and the specific surgeries they undergo.

Excited and humbled to be joining the ranks of some badass advanced practice nurses 💪.

May the learning never end

Got the chance to facilitate the 1st shadow experience for my guy.

Stop ONLY looking at the hourly rate when you see these job postings!

There’s so much more to evaluating a Locums contract.
- hourly rate
- OT and Call pay
- lodging stipend
- travel stipend/rental car
- license reimbursements
- guaranteed hours/pay
