This beautiful celebration of fun frolic, food, and colors is captured at the annual Gwalior mela this year. Out of the umpteen times I have been here this was the first time where it actually felt life luxury. As kids it just used to be joy, laughter, and fun for us... but visiting this after more than 2 decades, that too with my daughter, made me realize that these joys of life were the real ones. This whole experience was like time travel to me... We humans grow up and apart but these places remain just the same. Standing tall and bright... celebrating life as a carnival.

I just finished reading this wonderful, soul-touching story and I am still reeling from the experience. It's been a while I read a book that made my eyes tear up. A brilliantly written tale of four sisters and their separate lives that are eventually intertwined when it came down to overcoming the unforeseen crueties of fate.
One annual gathering and a beautiful family holiday ends abruptly when a devastating tragedy strikes and changes their world forever.
It's not just a tale of heartbreak and loss.... it's a tale of a family's triumph over difficulties. It's a story about resilience, unconditional love and unshaken support that a family provides.

I am yet to recall who or what recommended this book to me but it sure is an emotional roller coaster and I am glad I got my hands on it. The coffee in the picture was hands-down the best "supporting" actor ☕️📚

High altitude, Low network. This beautiful place has been my home during many mini breaks and weekend getaways. Set high in the Western Ghats, Wayand offers lush greenery, rich wildlife, and amazing hilly sights. Spices, Coffee, Kerala food... what's there to not love. Last year on this day, I was in this incredibly dreamy street of Phuket Old Town and I still can't get over those picturesque locations, instaworthy walls, cute cafès and pastel colours. This place actually looks like it is straight out of a children's colouring book. Each wall is a different colour and each store has something exciting to offer. I am reminiscing this moment and feeling grateful for every little joy life has ever offered.

Marking this day as the day when I have finally taken a call to weave those words into something meaningful and bind them together to call it a book. I don't know how many months or years it may take but I am going to make this long lost dream come true, no matter what the result will be. I still need to figure out all the whats, whens and hows but the first step was to step up and say "yes" to myself.
Can't express enough gratitude to those who always encouraged me that I have it in me to write a book. So if you ever popped into my DMs with your pep talks... you guys actually set me up to this journey. I'll keep you posted on the progress as I pick up that first sheet of paper with a pen and lots of hope.

Run, baby, run!! Beautiful sunrise, glorious morning, lush greenery all around, and a 6 AM run. I love me a busy weekend... and it's even better if I am out in the open. Plus I had to makeup for the bucket of popcorn I gorged last night. 🍿🎬

When it's your hair-care day and your little girl can't stop clicking you. Combing my hair is one of her favorite things to do.
