#JourneyofanArtist is NEW and exclusive! Tune into @deepellumradio today at 12 PM Central/6 PM Irish Time for a sneak peek at the brand new album from Ireland’s introspective alt-rock artist, @christiancohle! We talk about addiction, love, recovery, and the importance of a continual, humble journey of self-improvement. We also talk about music as a medium for true, unfiltered honesty; songwriting as meaningful therapy; and how instrumentation becomes a form of emotional illustration for the things with which we’re dealing as artists. Christian talks about his journey of self-love that inspired his new record, Queen of Ashes, and gets real about the internal struggles behind some of the new songs. Plus, hear sneak peeks of “Venus” and “Queen of Ashes”! Fans of #DavidBowie, #TearsforFears, and #EltonJohn won’t want to miss this episode or the new album! Can’t listen live? Make sure you’re subscribed to #JourneyofPod everywhere you listen to podcasts so you can hear the episode when it arrives on all podcast platforms on Monday! Special thanks to @amplifyagencyie and @rhiona.mcp for facilitating this chat! by @deepellumradio

#JourneyofanArtist returns with Amelia Card! Tune into @deepellumradio today and Sunday at 12 PM Central to hear my chat with @singing.sister about all things @poordavidspub! We talk about how the venue got its start, its long history in Dallas, and what moved the magical Amelia to step in and take over the venue when her dad finally decided to retire. Amelia is an awesome singer-songwriter and a passionate advocate for live music, and her vision for #PoorDavidsPub reflects those things in spades. You won't want to miss this conversation--or Amelia's information about how YOU can get involved with Poor David's as a musician or as an audience member! Can't catch our chat live? Tune in on Monday when the episode goes up across all podcasting platforms--OR take advantage of Poor David's new happy hour and head to the pub from 4:30 to 7 PM to talk to Amelia and everyone else from the Poor David's family. If you know Dallas, you know Poor David's Pub...but if you haven't been in awhile, it's definitely time to get reconnected! #dfwmusic #dfwevents #newpodcast taken in Poor David's Pub by @deepellumradio
