Shout out to full-time caregivers✨
I see y’all! This sh!t is hard work, emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually🙏🏽

These last few weeks have been exhausting, yet rewarding.

There was no real plan of action after my dad’s surgery. But the plan came naturally and all I had to do was SHOW UP.

My dad sees me differently and more importantly, I SEE ME differently.
I am not perfect but, I am willing to listen, learn and adapt accordingly when critical moments are presented.

I’ll take the two pound loss for the win!!! 🏆

I AM FULL
I AM BLESSED

Noccalula Falls, Gadsden Alabama✨

When I told people I was going to Alabama, they were perplexed and asked “WHY?!”…

Here are a few reasons why…
* My grandparents raised 8 children there.
* There’s love and laughter there.
* I got to walk the trail to Noccalula Falls with my 81 year old aunt the matriarch.
* I got to spend time with my cousins.
* I got to hug and love on my elders.

And a BONUS
* I learned, somehow we are related to Lionel Ritchie on my grandfathers side. 🤭

I wanted to write a meaningful caption…
But my inner voice said, “Just post the damn video!” 🥴

Note to self: I AM BLESSED

Gratitude for the month of May 🫶🏽

The month of May came and went in a snap! But, May showed up and showed out for me!

Chicago, Hawaii, drinks, food, art, friends, family, surprises, gifts, MY BIRTHDAY 🥳 ✨

I disrupted some of my patterns and learned a lesson or two!

Had a couple of hiccups along the way but, they could never overshadow the WONDERS & LOVE I experienced ALL month! 🥰

I’m good because…
IT’S ALL FOR MY GOOD 💕

One thing at a time.
One day at a time.
