Fucks sake.

He’s right though - if you want a shit doughnut that isn’t made of actual dough, go somewhere else.

If you want a light, fluffy doughnut where you can taste the REAL ingredients (not UPF) - get yourself in. Our doughnuts have been spectacular recently - just look at some recent posts! The dough and proofing is pretty much perfect.

Annoyingly, divvies like this one’s opinion actually somehow carries weight on a rating system 🤷‍♂️ taken in Yarm by @deepnorthuk

🚨 Stepney Bank Stables Fundraiser 🚨

This weekend - for every doughnut sold at Ouseburn we will donate £1. 🍩

If you’ve not heard, @stepneybankstables18 have had to close their doors to the public for the second time in recent months due to an outbreak of ringworm.

This is financially catastrophic for the charity. A large part of the charm of Ouseburn is seeing the horses walking through the roads - and more importantly they do life changing work for young people.

Do your bit. Your bit is eating a doughnut - there are worse things to do!

An evening with Hanna Nordenhök.

A huge thank you to @hannanordenhok for joining us in Newcastle tonight to talk all things Wonderland - lies and deception, truth and fiction, shifting identities, translation and plenty more besides.

Thanks to @pressheloise for the opportunity, to @deepnorthuk for welcoming us into their Ouseburn space, and most importantly to everyone who came along, asked questions and supported another evening of international literature in Newcastle. Despite the weather!

We recorded tonight’s conversation, so if you couldn’t make it along, we’ll be making the session available to listen back to very soon.

And if you’d like to pick up the book, there are a few signed copies of Wonderland remaining which I’ll have with me @thefindouseburn this weekend.
