The chances of ever seeing one of these things while diving is almost zero.

I spotted this Giant Oarfish and realized it was wounded. It had been bitten in the head and the tail and had scratch marks all along it's body.

So I took a shot and ended it's misery.

I then decided to take this fish in to shore to properly document it as these are rarely seen by humans.

What are some of your bucket list fish?

I've always wanted to hunt a rooster fish since I can remember although I've heard mixed reviews about their eating quality.

Definitely a dream fish! If anyone knows how tough it is to hunt these beast you'd understand they don't come around everyday at this size.

Always on the hunt for another similar model.

The Season has already started. Water temp up about 3 degrees from previous years which may be bad for Dentex season but on the flip side that might mean Mahi Mahi in the warmer months.

Gonna have to keep my head on a swivel with all this boat traffic hugging the coastline.

It's been a while but we are back in hunting mode. ⚡

@spearfishing_labrax_albania pulled through with a super fast overnight delivery of a fresh new 7mm yamamoto suit to tackle the cold waters of the Ionian sea.

The Albanian Flag is a nice touch as well! 🇦🇱

Couple training sessions are much needed as it's been a long hiatus with all the cyclones, earthquakes, floods and heavy swell over in South East Asia.

Although it's some of the toughest diving in the world the Mediterranean always maintains stable conditions where you can dive year round even on the roughest of days.

Can't wait for a full year of non stop adventure! 👊🏼

I haven't been diving the last few months because of severe storms, flooding and, typhoons.. it's driving me crazy. But what's driving me more crazy is how the country I fought in war for has been acting in the past few weeks.

The whole reason I started diving was for mental health and to relax and just get away from the noise.

As a veteran with PTSD this last week has engulfed me with emotions that I wish I could shake off with a simple dive, but I can't.

It's times like these when we need to pull together and stay strong as a community.

I would never wish what happened these last few week's on my worst enemy.

It's time to stand tall AMERICA and make that star spangled banner fly high again!

Going through some old photos because I haven't been in the water recently. When your in Asia during monsoon season and have multiple typhoons hit you there isn't any visibility.

Do you guys eat little baraccuda like this where your from? If I do happen to shoot one on a shore dive to have a quick meal I'll usually target the smaller ones because of ciguetera poisoning.

What are your thoughts on hunting them.
