Sometimes you just have to let those creative juices flow. One thing I have learnt especially with my mind is that when I have an idea and I can’t action it I have a pretty hard time so action it I did in this occasion I had no idea really what I was doing, but I knew where I wanted to be Thankfully with the plenty of bad weather in Shetland there’s no better place to be done stuck in a garage building a spare gun .

check out the video that is now live to see how I did it .

Mixed emotions.

Shot a new polespear world record bass today, unfortunately in Cornwall there are no certified scales that the IUSA would except so it cannot be sent in🤦‍♂️ but a new polespear PB for me of 11.3lb 82cm a beast!!!

Shot with the @evolvediving aftershock 8ft polespear in very murky water shoredive.
Thank you to spearfishing Uk and everyone else who tried super hard to find certified scales I will be purchasing some!!
@underwaterfishing_uk is this a British polespear record? 😘

A few days of my vacation trip to Bali were preapproved by my fiancee. I managed to found a speargun case with the right dimensions for airlines and packed our artistic Elegance 95 and some equipment with me. During vacation I have tried a few different spots around Bali and save the best for the last. Accordind to google research and confirmed by fellow spearo @deepwaterdreamin , Amed is the spearfishing place you wanna be. Patrick connected me with a local captain and he took me spearfishing to FADs. I dreamt about spearing a wahoo 🐟 , new specie for me, and the word out there is, they are fighters. At first, there were some mahi mahi around me and after spearing a few of them while using a mackerel as a flasher, I saw a wahoo just a few meters bellow me. It was probably floating there fow a few moments cause when I make a move, it kinda retracted back a little bit with the help of its backhead fins... The colours of them were just out of this world and the moment I will cheris forever... As I started to point #speargun to wahoo, it positioned itself even better and the shot placement was perfect... The spear went through and through just in the first third of the body and after a few seconds of twitching the knife aleardy went for the quick kill. I could not believe what just happened as my Bali dreams come through 🎯🐟
