You thought I forgot her cheesy birthday portrait didn’t you? Not a chance. We celebrated this pup’s 3rd birthday on May 18th. She’s the absolute best. She’s all kinds of sweet and spicy and we just love her. Happy birthday Iverson.

Here’s to the weekend!

@_ruth_young and I have decided to do a monthly self portrait challenge. Each month we’ve picked a word, our word for May is Energy.

Lately going out to the country for Brynn’s horseback riding lessons has giving me so much energy. There’s just something about the country so I figured I needed a picture on Brynn’s country road. Also thanks to my girl for capturing this SP for me. We’ve been getting those amazing stormy skies lately and I couldn’t love them more.

@_ruth_young and I have decided to do a monthly self portrait challenge. Each month we’ve picked a word, our word for March is Cultivate.

My husband and I are always leaning into our kids interests and hobbies and encouraging growth and discipline in it. Brynn loves horseback riding and has learned so much!! She is pouring in so much time and devotion to cultivate this love of horses!!

My dear friend Ruthie and I wanted to stay connected more and challenge each other with photography. So here’s our first instalment of our monthly project and I can’t wait. Ruth has been a huge source or inspiration through the years plus she’s an incredible friend!!

Brynnzy had her birthday party last weekend and invited 5 of her closest friends. These stunning cookies we got made from the ever so talented @bloom.boom.ca If you’re looking for amazing treats for your next event you don’t need to look any further. These are the absolute best and I can’t wait to order more yummy things for her!!!

Another image for our Narnia series. Scroll to see her last year. Man she’s grow a lot. Happy 10th birthday sweet lady. To know you is to love you. You’re filled with so much wonder. You’re a home body that loves to read and is so smart. You’re such a wonderful friend and have the best outlook on life, you’re always so fair with others. Brynn you’re strong and have the most incredible pain tolerance, I wish I had just a snippet of that. You’re super brave and always willing to trying something new. We’re so proud of the human you are. Love you so much so much!

This year I only posted 15 pictures, so to pick my top 9 was pretty easy. I still documented life but not all the time. I took more time to take in the moments for what they were. No pressure to pose or document everything. We enjoyed so much together, but there were also some very challenging times in 2025. Moments that left me feeling very overwhelmed, but we persevered and became stronger because of those times. These three grew so much and we’re so proud of all that they have accomplished. I’m excited for 2026 and all the new adventures and growth we will embrace. Happy New Year to you all!!

“Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.” -Brian Tracy
