We are beyond thrilled to return to @viborgmetalfestival 🔥 @defacinggod unleashed their first-ever debut show on this very stage years and years ago!

Since then, a massive internal and external evolution has taken place and we are ready to return and tear the stage apart in our ultimate, current form!

See you in 2027!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we unfortunately have to cancel our performance at the Female Fronted Violence Festival on September 5th at @ Club HELL in Diest 🇧🇪

We’ve never canceled a gig before, but a series of unexpected challenges has simply made it impossible for us to make it this time.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience!

To make it up to you, we have absolutely no intention of letting Belgium off the hook, so the show has been rescheduled for 2027 instead!

Diest, see you there! 🔥

NEW RELEASE

Defacing God 'Darkness Is My Crown'

The Danish blackened death metal force of Defacing God returns with hellacious triumph. Throwing more fuel on the fire, the band manage to fan the flames with more crackle in the heaviness of their output, while embers float into obscurity, just like the mystic that surrounds some of the themes explored. Vocalist Sandie Gjørtz sounds impeccable with her anguished growls and screams. She is an underrated performer. This is a triumphant follow up to 2022's stellar 'The Resurrection of Lilith'.
