Nobody talks about how much the gym can change your mind before it changes your body.

For me, training has never been just about how I look. It’s about clearing my head, managing stress, rebuilding confidence and reminding myself what I’m capable of - one session at a time.

And fitness isn’t one-size-fits-all. Movement can look different for everyone, including disabled people. You don’t have to move like anyone else to deserve to feel strong. ♿️

Exercise can support our mental wellbeing, but you don’t need to smash every workout or pretend you’re okay all the time. Rest is valid. Asking for help is strength. And movement is one tool in your wellbeing toolkit - not a replacement for professional support.

This World Mental Health Day, I’m sharing this reminder for anyone who needs it. Organisations like @youngmindsuk are doing important work to help young people feel heard and find support.

Now tell me: what does movement do for YOUR mind? I’d love to hear your experience.👇🏽

If this resonated with you, save it for a day you need the reminder, share it with someone who needs to hear it, and follow along for more real-life fitness, adaptive fitness and mental wellbeing.

Let’s make fitness a space where more people feel welcome.

Cerebral palsy is part of my story - but it is NOT the whole story.

Today, on World Cerebral Palsy Day

, I’m celebrating 🌏💚disability, resilience, individuality and every person who refuses to be defined by other people’s expectations.

If you’re part of the CP community, I see you.If you love someone with CP, this one’s for you too.

And if you’re learning about cerebral palsy for the first time, welcome - stick around. 👀

💬 Comment “💚”if you have CP too

👍🏽Like if you can relate

🤝Share this with someone who needs to see it

💜Follow me for more real-life cerebral palsy content

Let’s make disability visible. Let’s make conversations normal. And let’s celebrate what makes us different.💚♿️🌻👀

I have ADHD and a learning disability... so let’s see if this forMe app is actually for me

I’m always trying to understand myself better - how I think, communicate, what motivates me, what my strengths are, and where I sometimes struggle.
forMe uses a visual, colour-based personality framework to help you understand your natural strengths, motivations, preferences and areas for growth - without making it feel like you’re reading a psychology textbook
So I’m putting it to the test...

Will it actually help me understand myself better, or will I just end up thinking
“well... that explains A LOT”

Come find out with me👀

The girl who started vs. the girl who refused to give up. 🥹💜

When I first started, I had no idea how much could change.

I still have bad days. I still negotiate with comfort but I keep showing up.

Progress doesn’t have to be perfect to be progress.

If you’re on your own journey, please comment so I can cheer you on!

💜Follow me for adaptive fitness, disability awareness & the real journey behind it all.

ADHD girlies… let’s talk. 👀

Is ADHD really being overdiagnosed?

Or are we finally better recognising it, talking about it and finding our people?

As an ADHD girlie myself, I think there’s room for both awareness AND better diagnosis.

What do you think?
🤍Awareness has helped
🩵Self-diagnosis has gone too far
👀Both

Comment 🤍🩵👀 and tell me why?👇🏽

And if you’ve ever felt like “wait… maybe my brain works differently too”, you’re definitely not alone.

Save this, send it to your ADHD bestie and follow me for more honest conversations about ADHD, disability & life. 🤍

What’s your therapist’s name?

Movement. 💪🏽

Because sometimes movement gives me what words can’t — confidence, freedom and a reason to keep going. ❤️

Living with a hidden disability has taught me that movement doesn’t have to look the same for everyone. You just have to find what works for YOU. ♿️

If you’re navigating life with a hidden disability, you’ve found your people. 🌻

💜Follow for real-life hidden disability content, adaptive fitness, horse riding, breaking barriers and honest moments that don’t always make it onto Instagram.

Save this for the days you need the reminder. Share it with someone who needs to hear it. And tell me — what’s YOUR “therapist”? 👇

Around a million disabled people in the UK want to work, but too many are facing barriers.

Our new research featured on Good Morning Britain today shows 43% felt their disability may have played a role in job rejection. 28% have had adjustment requests rejected or not put in place (scope.org.uk/blueprint).

Too much of the conversation still focuses on changing disabled people, rather than fixing the systems failing us.

Scope is calling on the Government for a national disability employment strategy, developed with disabled people.

We’ll be sharing more about this blueprint for equality this week. Join our broadcast channel for more updates!

Things people say to disabled people that sound kind… but can feel harmful.

“You’re so inspiring.”

“I could never live like that.”

“You don’t look disabled.”

Even when the intention is good, these comments can:

• Reduce someone to their disability

• Turn basic daily life into “bravery”

• Dismiss invisible disabilities

Impact matters more than intent.

This isn’t about cancelling people — it’s about learning and doing better.

Education, not hate. 💜

Save. Share. Start the conversation. And follow for more honest conversations like this.

💬 What’s the most “well-meaning” comment you’ve heard that didn’t feel so nice?
