Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2nd Annual DEB Fundraiser Gala. Your presence did more than fill the room. It helped create a space where stories could be shared, connections could be made, conversations could begin, and our community could come together in a meaningful way.

The evening was filled with laughter, joy, powerful stories, meaningful conversations, and a few tears. Every person who attended, presented, performed, donated, volunteered, or supported the evening played a part in making that possible.
A special thank you to @bobrumball for providing such a meaningful space for us to gather, @asecommunity for sharing your work and advocacy for the Black Deaf and Disabled community, and @research.bdc for your incredible support of this fundraiser.

To our presenters and entertainers, thank you for sharing your voices, experiences, talents, and energy with us. And to everyone who showed up and supported DEB, thank you for helping turn an evening into something that will continue to have an impact beyond the event itself.

Because of your support, we were able to come together, celebrate Deaf culture and community, and continue creating opportunities for connection, belonging, and growth.

There truly was no better way to close out International Week of Deaf People.

Thank you so much, @defeventsbeyond, for hosting such a fun gala! It was such a great evening with so many wonderful people, great performances, amazing speakers, powerful stories, lots of fun, great conversations, new connections, and so much more. It was a special evening bringing everyone together to celebrate the Deaf community, Deaf culture, International Day of Sign Languages, and Deaf human rights.
