Black Belt Pan NOGi IBJJF Champ 🥇

It's been 7 years dedicating myself to this moment. Ever since I got my white belt for the first time, I thought about the day I would win a big title as a black belt. When I was waiting to take my finals, all I could think about was that it had been almost 5 years living away from my country and not being able to see my family and thinking about how hard I worked all these years until the day came, when I looked that carpet I thought “it was all for that, today is the day, today is my day”.
In the last two months I committed myself to this competition. I dedicated every minute of my time to this, I lost weight, I dropped down a category, I trained beyond what I thought I could handle. I faced some fears and anxiety attacks, I overcame all the obstacles. I confess that some days were difficult, but I had someone by my side who held my hand every time I thought about abandoning ship. Thank you, love @joaomabjj , for being with me every second and being my base whenever I needed you. Having someone by your side who believes in you is essential.
I would like to thank everyone who was part of my preparation, all my teammates at @doublefivejiujitsu_hv and all the incredible people at @eclipsebjj , my friends and my family. In particular, I would like to thank our Professor @rafael_formiga , who gave all the support we needed, certainly made me evolve a lot as an athlete and is always there when we need it.

World Champion NOGI IBJJF and Black Belt🥇
Não consigo nem descrever como estou me sentindo honre, me sinto de fim realizada. Desde que eu perdi a final do mundial de kimono, eu decidi que iria focar totalmente nas competições de NOGI e precisava mudar muita coisa na minha vida para da certo. As coisas mudaram e tudo começou caminhar tão bem, fecho minha temporada nogi na faixa marrom invicta, além de número 1 na minha divisão ! Eu sou muito grata aos meus colegas de treino na @doublefivejiujitsu_hv e aos meus professores @rafael_formiga e @lopestatu ! Também quero agradecer muito aos meus alunos da @underground_bjj1 e ao @diegosantana0001 por me apoiarem e ajudarem na minha construção como atleta ! Thank you for support too @eclipsebjj @cronce_jj

Seis anos atrás eu comecei a treinar jiu jitsu apenas por hobbie, uma estudante de psicologia que não fazia ideia o quanto aquilo iria mudar sua vida. Muito obrigado @rodrigo.pitbull por introduzir o jiu jitsu na minha vida e muito obrigado @casquinhajj e @renzograciebjj por contribuir pra que eu chegasse até aqui !

Obrigado todas as pessoas que me ajudaram e me apoiaram ao longo desse tempo. Eu sou tão grata por ter amigos incríveis e conhecido pessoas maravilhosas e também por uma família que ame apoia muito mesmo de longe ! Obrigado mãe @leonanjodinha , eu tenho muito ❤️

Black Belt World Championship- Thrid Place 🥉

Yesterday I completed one year since I received my black belt and I was going to the nogi world black belt podium to receive my medal, wasn’t in the place I expected, but it’s the way to get there. I know that in this Worlds I didn’t give 100 percent and I know that something needs to be corrected for me to achieve my best performance. I’m still going to get to that first place and I know it won’t take long! Thank you to everyone who always supports me and cheers for me, I am very grateful to have incredible people in my life and to have a wonderful man by my side who supports and encourages me every day, I love you @joaomabjj ❤️

Thank You, God, for bringing me back to the mats. Your love brought me back to something I love and helped me find that love again. There was a time when I fought for medals, and when they didn’t come, I was frustrated. When they did come and nothing changed inside me, I couldn’t understand why I was still doing this. I had lost sight of my purpose. It wasn’t until I understood that I was called to live for You and carry Your name through jiu-jitsu that everything started to make sense. I realized that if I walked away from fighting, I would also be walking away from an opportunity to use the strength You gave me for something bigger than myself. Just as Peter went from being a fisherman to fishing for people, I believe You brought me back to the mats to fight for people, not just medals. That doesn’t mean the medals don’t matter or that I don’t want to win. It means they’re no longer the reason I’m here. There is something so much bigger than a podium, a title, or a victory. I want my journey to mean something beyond my own achievements. I want people to see You through me, through the way I fight, the way I carry myself, and the way I treat others. Now I understand why I’m here and who I’m fighting for. Thank You for bringing me back, for reminding me of my purpose, and for giving me the strength to keep going. This is for You and for Your glory. ❤️Ephesians 6:10–18
