Sheatie is a Chicago based DJ whose love for music was shaped by her father’s collection of R&B/Soul and house records played on old cassette tapes and CDs every Friday night, her mother’s affinity for chill and downtempo music, and countless hours spent falling down YouTube music rabbit holes as a kid.
Blending jungle, UKG, house, and everything in between, her musical taste shifts from light and ethereal to deeper, bass heavy sounds, encouraging listeners to come with an open mind and stay for the journey by @deja.lanique

Last Month, my 7th (!!) cohort graduated from my 102 class at @miyagieducation! This summers been so insane with work that I haven’t gotten a chance to do a proper send off post. That being said, big shout outs to my students Blade @onyi.fm @deja.lanique and @mrmixologist! It’s always a blessing to see my students expand their skill set and creativity in the weeks leading up to graduation. Imparting this knowledge of the craft is everything!!

Can’t wait to see them throw down in the field! Much love ✌️✌️ by @deja.lanique

THIS SATURDAY: Here’s to another cohort of students graduating my 102 class at @miyagieducation. I say this a lot but for me it’s all about passing the keys to up and coming DJs and seeing what they can do it with it. Thats what it’s about! This group is super talented and have surprised me throughout. Please come by to show some love to Blade @deja.lanique @mrmixologist and @onyinyayy at @miyagirecordshop by @deja.lanique
