It was all a dream 🥹✨ • All I can say is that I have truly been stretched for the better 💚 Living, laughing, learning & loving! Huge thank you to everyone involved in this show and especially a giant thank you to Cahleesi, my Assistant Hair & Makeup Designer! There’s no way I could’ve held my own role, my understudy role, and served as the hair designer without her support & kindness! 🥹 My heart is so full from this experience. 🥹 I got to grow in my understudy role by performing as ‘Michelle’ for 15 shows🥰 and I made friends with so many wonderful and talented people. A “good friend” is like Malik at karaoke… Loud, slightly off-key, but impossible not to love. 😂 Malik, you were truly one of my best friends🥹 Two nuts in one shell 😂. Our bond started with a Polaroid camera and grew into a lifetime of pictures and memories. Every photo still makes me feel like you’re still here, smiling with me.💐 I’ll never forget that Norbit scene: Rasputia yelling, “Clean the attic!” and when Norbit said, “We don’t have an attic,” she said, “Well then you build a damn attic—and clean it up!” 😂 That scene cracked Malik up everytime 😂 But the truth is, that was his spirit. If Malik wanted something, he went after it. He didn’t wait—he built it. He was a dream-chaser, a go-getter. He always built his attic🥹 And because of him, we’re reminded to laugh louder, dream bigger, and keep living. 🥹✨ I loved how we never took anything seriously 😂 all the moments we weren’t supposed to laugh at, we laughed and joked and made it even funnier. Being your friend was easy and I pray that I live by your example of living freely, “touching grass”😂, going after everything you want in life, and making the best out of every moment💐 Malik’s true gift was building community, and that’s what made him not just a friend, but the kind of friend you never forget. Malik, you are deeply loved by all of us, and we give thanks to God for blessing us with your presence during your time on earth. Talk about Alignment! 🥹🩷 • I am delighted to share that I will be performing again at @experiencehattiloo as “Donna” in “The Boy Who Kissed The Sky” which explores the early life story of Jimi Hendrix! 🎸 This role is especially meaningful as I have also been chosen to represent @donnasrecipe, Tabitha Brown’s hair care line, as a brand ambassador! 🥰 Looks like 2025 is the year of “Donna” 😂🩷 Many of you know that Tabitha Brown has been one of my biggest inspirations for yearssss and this opportunity to highlight her brand is something I hadn’t even asked God for yet….AND he gave it to me before I could even ask!!! 😭🙌🏾 It was truly in God’s timing!
