Dreamgirls… one of my DREAM shows… and I will forever get to say I was the Dance Captain for it 😍

This was one of the most rewarding, challenging, exciting, and exhausting shows I have ever done!

Thank you, Patdro Harris, for seeing me, encouraging me, and trusting me with your vision. One of the greatest memories I will carry with me is how much you poured into me as an artist. Most people can’t say they received what I received from you—your knowledge, your talent, your grace, and your advice. For that, I will forever be grateful. I can’t wait for our next project!

To the cast and crew—thank you for trusting me, but also showing me grace when I didn’t have all the answers. Thank you for uplifting me during the moments when I needed it most. Thank you for the laughter, the hugs, and the real conversations. No one will truly know the ups and downs we endured, but we did it together… as a family… like a giant tree branching out toward the skyyyy 👀🤣 lol. I love y’all for real. I met some incredible people and finally got to work with people I’ve always wanted to collaborate with!

My Dreams: Thank you for your beautiful spirits and your tenacity to push through. Watching y’all bloom from the first rehearsal to the final show was such a poetic experience.

Ensemble: Y’all did that 💩💩💩💩!!! The way everyone adapted and pushed through changes almost every single night?! We should win an award for that alone 🤣🤣🤣

Principal Dancers: Whew! What a blessing it’s been to dance alongside y’all. Thank you for making me feel as young as y’all 😝 and for all the extra time we put in to make sure we looked GOOD. 6 minutes of joy, babyyyyy!!

Stage manager, crew, and fairy godmothers: The show was magical because of EVERYTHING you did behind the scenes. We would not have made it through without you. Y’all are the real MVPs.

Some shows you perform in… and some shows shape you as an artist. Dreamgirls will forever be one that shaped me. #Dreamgirls #DanceCaptain #Ensemble #6MinsOfJoy I do not own this music

To DreamGirls,

“what an experience it twas’… “ ✨

thank you for the stretch. thank you for the lessons, the challenges, the push that showed all of us we were more capable than we thought. thank you for the priceless joys, every laugh, every disagreement, every bond created. thank you for the chance to participate in a show that’ll go down in history.

shoutout to @experiencehattiloo, the CAST, CREW, and the entire production — every helping hand who played a role in pulling this off. And special thanks to our director @patro_harris, couldn’t have done it without you 🫂💐 only we know the literal blood, sweat, and tears it took to accomplish such a show. the time, energy, and sacrifice. the dedication and perseverance to finish strong… and sure enough, WE DID IT YALL. and ended in love, celebration, and core memories that’ll last a lifetime.

grateful for the experience. grateful for the community. grateful for the opportunity. grateful for the growth. and of course (if you were wondering), my favorite part of the show was being one of the INFAMOUS STEP SISTASSSSS 😂🥹😍💚

as I say farewell, this chapter is now closed, and a new book is unloading…

(one thing’s for sure, whether it was a costume or a fit to the theater, a LEWK was served throughout the entire run. and one time for the short hair, I named her Rose 👏🏾🌹)
