Me this summer in between working the 2 speedrun trauma musicals and getting sick every 14 minutes (very fulfilling very high emotion very crazy few months!) also it was a Rupert Holmes summer in case anyone didn’t know by @delaneycirce

I got to sing in the Lumiere Lounge at the Strand last week as part of their cabaret series! It was DIVA NIGHT with my lovely friends AKA the Loud Broad Convention!! I love to sing!!! Here’s some clips!

Eric and I got to go to Howard Finster’s Paradise Garden earlier this month and it was pure nourishment for my heart and soul!!

Howard Finster is my favorite artist on the planet and my favorite disciple of the Lord. You probably know him from working with Coca Cola, REM, Talking Heads, Keith Haring…his hand’s been about everywhere the past century or so. Known as the Grandfather of Contemporary American Folk Art, Howard believed that God had commissioned him to create as long as he lived — through several visions, including one where an angel’s face materialized onto his thumb and spoke to him directly. He preached the softness, beauty and bounty of God’s love — all-consuming, for all people, with no cost, only the hope that we would mirror that tenderness to others. He made thousands and thousands of works of art out of scraps and what others had discarded as trash, quite literally sprouting beauty from ashes — a gorgeous metaphor for his own faith and his kindness to everyone in his path.

There’s something heavy and freeing in the air at Paradise Gardens, the sprawling few acres in Summerville where a majority of his works and his famous Folk Chapel are nestled. With every breath there it’s easy to imagine a world where spirituality is as close as our breath and love is a radical protest against everything.

Highlights: my perfect niece, Olive infused meat, America’s favorite pastime, dog cake, my mommy, Eric shredding that shink, Lizzie, Caty w the Mirrors by Justin Timberlake 9 minute long music video, mandatory government sanctioned bowl of nails for iron deficient women, Cat being the only person to utilize found space comedy effectively, etc taken in Whats going on peoples by @delaneycirce

Selected December and January dump… yeah yeah life has been kick ass as well as has KICKED my a$$

I was a swing for the first time ever in what was the scariest and most rewarding experience of my theater career at @stagedoortheatrega, getting to go on 4 times in a row and say the brilliant words of the singular @claire.f.martin with my childhood best friend! Sometimes you dream of making theater together and 18 years later you do!! I am so proud of myself!

Caleb and Eric picked persimmons, I did a big audition and helped my friends with theirs, I made a point to be more social which is sometimes hard for me to do but I am making progress!!! my niece continues to be the light of the world, I made a big beautiful vision board, had incredible Lebanese food, cats laughter and people were in the mix at every turn….

In a very difficult and transitory period of my life right now. Things are hard but I am fighting for joy, as we all are in a harsh world! by @delaneycirce

THE DELICOUNTER 2025 FOOD IN REVIEW!
20 things I ate and or made this year that brought me joy.
This was a difficult year culinarily for me as I went through crazy life adjustments, body image issues, and maybe the busiest schedule I’ve ever had. I spent less time trying to make things beautiful, and more time on just making food that would provide respite and satisfaction. Spur of the moment stuff instead of carefully planned recipes and visuals. In no particular order:
1. Persimmons from my sissy’s tree :)
2. Toasted coconut scary cake for @moneypenny96’s birthday
3. A perfect steak. No reverse sear here. We die like men
4. @alma.atl’s perfect fish taco plate
5. Buttermilk Irish soda bread scones w dates!
6. My nephew’s 3rd birthday cake (all choco, his request)
7. Baby bird shortbread
8. Jongro BBQ with the person who helped me hone my love for food @antociantoci
9. @mady_kat’s strawberry chocolate bday cake with whipped Swiss meringue and strawberry creme pat!
10. Stewed white beans with herby pistou, chasing a high from a dish I ate at @kidcashew_sandysprings
11. Roasted strawberry cornbread cookies!
12. Late summer panzanella with white peach, sausage, and heirloom tomato
13. Lemon, Aleppo, and grana padana chicken skewers
14. Mortadella and fried zucchini sandwich from @bottegaitalianmarket (best sandwich OTY)
15. Stewed Dijon meatballs with carm onion and thyme honey delicata squash
16. Classic yellow cake with fudge ermine frosting!
17. My niece’s first birthday cake (strawberry raspberry with seeping sides RIP)
18. CORN POTAGE. CORN POTAGE
19. Honey buttermilk biscuits for Thnxgvn
20. Whipped cherry almond shortbread for Christmas :)

Literally love you all. Nourish yourself and be kind to your body — both in what you put in it and what you say to it! Lord knows I can be better about that too!! Here’s to a new year full of very delish bitez by @delaneycirce

DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS 2025
A month ago I closed what I think is in the top 5 comedic musicals in the whole canon…for the second time!! This has been a year of revisiting shows that mean the world to me and adding new memories to my trove of previous theater experiences!! Really what a damn blast to do something so entirely ridiculous and clever and bizarre. I’m lucky! Some of the most fun I’ve had doing comedy in a long long time.

I like playing psychosexual rich women who sing basement alto notes :) and I like doing theater with my talented friends at a place I love (: La La La love is everywhere and love is ALSO my legs!!
