Last month I was able to make my Georgia Professional theatre debut in one of my favorite shows of all time. Years ago when I listened to the Parade score by @jasonrobertbrownstagram for the first time, I knew it was going on my bucket list of shows I wanted to perform. Little did I know that I would be performing the show for the first time in Marietta where it all happened. That alone made the experience extremely special, but nothing compares to the joy of meeting/working with this cast and building community while simultaneously making a beautiful work of art together.
My friends, I truly do love you and will treasure this one.
Big thank you to @strandmarietta @dancerdawn5 and @greyson_wade for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this storytelling ❤️

@elliottfolds your dramaturgy work on this was the key. Thank you for your care and mentorship as we navigated the responsibility of telling this story in Marietta.

@delaneycirce there’s no part of this story/show that’s easy to talk about, but your ability to foster an environment where everyone feels safe and empowered to discuss and ask questions is completely beyond me. You are magic. Watching you LOVE what you do fueled my creative fire every day. I could not have asked for a better intimacy coordinator or new friend :)

Mary doesnt get to interact too much with most of the cast, but I have to give a big thanks to @im_joshing_ya for being such an amazing scene partner and collaborator. I’m grateful and privileged to have a friend in you.

I’m eager to continue to build my community in Atlanta, and I hope I get to do so while making art with all of you. ❤️

"Another openin' another show"

My Atlanta debut, and one of my favorite shows I've done thus far in my career. This has been one of the best, if not THE best, casts I've ever had the pleasure of working with. This was such a blessed and inspired production and I'm lucky to have been part of it :)

“Parade” - 2026 • This show was such a blessing, in more ways than I can put into words here. First of all, being able to put on this show in Marietta, the city where the events took place, was unreal. That connection permeated every fiber of this production, especially in the care and dedication put forth by this cast and crew to create something that honored the material and its message. Much of this cast consisted of friends and former cast mates, so I was no stranger to many of these superstars, but literally every single performer on that stage put their heart and soul into each and every show. For me, my work in this production validated me in a way I haven’t felt in a while. I’m so proud of my performance, and this show gave me confidence back in knowing that I’m doing what I love. It also reminded me why I chose to do this in the first place. I don’t just love performing, I love storytelling, and this was a story that needed to be told right now.

Also huge shoutout to @elliottfolds for his incredible dramaturgy and to our fearless stage manager, Maria Scott! Last but not least, this beast of a musical wouldn’t have been possible without all the incredible musicians that brought Jason Robert Brown’s (@jasonrobertbrownstagram) score to life!

Parade!!

Words truly cannot fully describe how much being a part of this show has meant to me. To be a part of this show in general is a blessing in itself. But to do it in Marietta where everything took place, and with such a wonderful, supporting, talented and uplifting team is the perfect cherry on top.

Thank you GOD for giving me this opportunity, for pushing me to go to the audition, and guiding me through this process.

Thank you @dancerdawn5 and @greyson_wade for trusting me to be a part of this production. And for creating such a safe and supporting environment within this show.

I will always cherish this show, the process, and the friends I’ve made along the way. I am forever grateful to say I was lucky enough to be a part of it and forever blessed to do it alongside great human beings🫀
