Delta IV - Diamond Bitfields is out now! We are so thrilled to finally share this with you! You can find it on your favorite streaming platform and/or purchase it at Bandcamp. Links in bio!

"Jared Pace and Michael Schorr return once again as the heavy synth duo Delta IV with the sleek, mysterious, and infectious Diamond Bitfields. Since the band's debut '2' in 2021, Pace and Schorr have been honing their sonic world into a solidly dystopian futuristic sound. Albums like The Electron Coast and Radium Arc only solidified the duo's knack for combining the prog tendencies of the great Zombi, while bringing their own singular sound into sharp focus.

Diamond Bitfields leans heavily into vibes and mood; foundational grooves, infectious synth melodies, and an underlying feeling of unrequited, eerie solace about our future. AI and the datasphere plays an integral part in the mood here. From the album opener "Terminus Cipher" and it's almost trip hop feel, to the end times swing of "First Light" Delta IV are firing on all cylinders.

There's an underlying theme of a future gone awry as technology reaches sentience, and while we may not be overrun by AI yet, Diamond Bitfields imagines what that reality may sound like. "The Observers", "Perihelion Fever Dream", and stunning closer "Infinity Lattice" sound the alarm of a dystopian world where machine rules man. Delta IV paints a vision of desolation while laying it out in a sonically stunning way. It's up to us to heed their warning." - J Hubner / Complex Distractions

It's Bandcamp Friday and in the spirit of that event we've decided to set Radium Arc to be "Name Your Price" for the day. Go grab it now if you don't already have it!

While you're at it, it's worth mentioning that SFI Recordings has both Standard and Exclusive vinyl versions of The Electron Coast available, as well as the cassette version of Delta IV - II. There's even a bundle featuring The Electron Coast and II!

Thanks again for all your support and interest! There's a new Delta IV album in the works and we hope to have more news about it later on this year. #music #synth #instrumental #scifi #deltaiv #prog #cinematic

For those wondering, that's an image of Enceladus, one of Saturn's many moons and the subject of one of the songs from Radium Arc.

We are wrapping up demos for the next Delta IV album and @thinkingfeller70 decided to get fancy with his kick drum before heading into the studio later this year. Can you blame him? That artwork from @a__gilmore is 🔥🔥🔥 #synth #instrumental #prog #drums taken in Seattle, Washington by @deltaivband
