Updated version of “if a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?” @visit_montgomery_county_ny and @amsterdamtourmarketingrec managed to put on an Italian fest without telling any Italians. The only vaguely Italian themed booth was the Knights of Columbus. In fact, there were more martyr photos of Charlie Kirk than there were Italian flags.

Despite this, we found a serendipitously located Italian restaurant and had a nice lunch.

To the city: do better. The one Italian American I spoke to said “I am actually offended.” taken in Amsterdam, New York by @deltawriter12

@eriecanalmuseum_syracuse and @nycanals put on a @cameraobscuraband Camera Obscura at Lock 12. It’s not just a band it’s an art installation.

Brilliant colors as the light waves concentrate through the aperture then spread (inverted) on the wall of the Power House.

Sad to hear that artist Yayoi Kusama has passed. I really enjoyed her “Infinity Mirrored Room – Dancing Lights That Flew up to the Universe” at @guggenheim. Rest in power. by @deltawriter12
