DEMIURGE - RIVER

Been wanting to post a clip breaking down maybe my favorite riff off my EP that came out last year. Probably stemming from my piano background, I’ve always loved tapping and specifically two finger tapping, it’s a technique I have been obsessed with since the early days of my guitar playing. The unique texture and color one can achieve with tapping is one of my favorite things about guitar as instrument, and really showcases the amazing depth that this instrument can reach like no other. I really tried to capture that feeling of “what the fuck is that guy doing with his hands???” with this riff, a feeling that has been a continuous question and source of inspiration on my guitar journey. And considering how much of a pain this part is to play live, I hope I achieved that.

Enjoy! And keep an eye out on the @demiurgetdm_ page for new music coming soon!

“THE ROSES OF HATRED” is now out on all streaming platforms! I am so stoked for everyone to finally hear what I’ve been working on, and I am very thankful for all the support and love you guys have been giving the single so far.

This riff is off the fourth track on the EP, “WAR PORTRAIT” and it’s one of my favorites on the whole EP, leaning more into the brutal side of things and the sliding pinch harmonics are one of my favorite techniques to play in death metal.

Thank you all so much once again for the support, and happy listening.

Hello everyone! I’m EXTREMELY stoked to announce that my band DEMIURGE will finally be releasing its first full length on December 19th, entitled “THE ROSES OF HATRED”. This 5 song EP was sculpted meticulously over the last half a year and I am so happy to have you all hear what I’ve been pouring every hour of my day and my soul the last few months into.

I am also very lucky to be borrowing the amazing talents of @lucasnguitar on guitar and @zachtippin1 on bass to help bring this music to life to shows near you. (more info about that to come soon!)

The lead single, “PRAYER” is out now on all streaming services, so spin it at home, in your car, at the gym, wherever your heart desires!

Thank you all for the support and love, and keep your calendars open for December 19th.
