Another rough weekend at GT4 America (this is a theme unfortunately 🙂 ).
Lots of hard work by lots of people was undone again by mechanical issues that cropped up only during the races.
We were the quickest car in class both races and were on class pole for Sunday, but neither race worked out.
Saturday we had limp mode that put us way back and I was able to bring the car home in p5 while it was in a non-track mode.

Sunday was super frustrating as mixed class racing really hampered our pace (it is super hard to pass at Barber without risk) and then when Judson Holt hopped in while leading… limp mode again. This time we parked Serrano in the hopes we could find the issue (the Saturday mid-race reset had eliminated the codes, so no smoking gun).

The championship hunt is pretty much done for us now so we will head to Indy in 2 weeks to try and steal a top podium step or two.

The Random Vandals Racing team is working hard to figure out why Serrano is apparently haunted and I have faith that they will have it all sorted by Indy.
Congrats to Sam Craven and Kenton Koch on stretching their points lead and Josh Green and Bruno Colombo for a super competitive weekend overall.

Giddyup time at Barber Motorsports Park with GT4 America!
Serrano in yellow and Jalepeno looking to help Kenton Koch and Sam Craven roll to a championship.
The raccoons are swarming and we are ready to roll on a damp track to start the weekend.

NLS 8 and 9 - our final ride for 2026 in Tex! We’ve had a blast racing with @avracingbyblackfalcon and @teamblackfalcon this year.
.
We had a weekend of highs and lows. We had new personal best lap times for three of our drivers, good qualifying, and P2 on Sunday in SP10 AM in the crazy wet conditions. Our race on Saturday didn’t go as planned. We were in a good position after the start sitting P2 in SP10 when we picked up a puncture in the right rear tire. The car was OK, but we had to pull off track and weren’t able to get the car back to pit lane so we didn’t even complete a lap in the race. But that’s racing sometimes!

Welp, racing, as always, is a cruel mistress. I think we had a really good shot at battling for the overall class win today but it wasn’t to be.
Dave Ogburn Racing had a puncture on the first lap so we didn’t make it around. An hour and a half in and no hint of a tow truck.
Yay Nürburgring.
We will regroup and try again tomorrow.

Great to be back at it with GT4 America at Road America this weekend!
We didn’t quite have the pace we wanted today (we still ran well in our class) but we will get after it again tomorrow.
Random Vandals Racing has given us a stellar steed!
The Elkhart Lake race car parade is always awesome.
