✋🏼 🛑 trying to be the loudest person in the room …
Try this instead.

We’ve all experienced it … someone walks in the room … you instantly notice them … and the energy instantly shifts … time almost stands still

Want the good news … Presence isn’t an innate .. genetic trait … it’s a skill you can cultivate … ask me how I know … so if you want to learn to own a room … 👇👇

1️⃣ Claim your space before you enter

We all have “a thing” that helps us prep. For some it’s silence … for some it’s music - for some it’s mantra … “I belong in this ____” … so before you leave your home … get right with the vibe that makes you feel your best and before you walk in any room know how you prep best … and prep with intention.

2️⃣ Master stillness

Most people fidget … in some form or another you can see they’re uncomfortable. The most powerful people in any room are still. Here’s a secret … I used to find this really hard … I felt the same awkwardness many do … until I practiced … I prepared … I focused … and I improved

3️⃣ Focus outward

Charisma is you making those around you feel great about themself … not artificially … but because you’re actually curious … interested … and genuinely want them to feel valued. Learn to make great eye contact … not the creepy stuff … the “you’re the only person in this room” vibe. Then listen … Talk less … Ask more. Then …

4️⃣ Speak with precision

Words matter more when we choose them carefully … and you deliver them slowly. Now that you’ve listened carefully … and you’ve focused on the person across from you … pause … 💭… then speak
