Part 2 of 2 Summer in the City photos by @kris.p_photography 🫶🏽

All ages, all wheels, any skill level! We had inline, quad, skateboard, scooter, bike, and wheelchair users join us. You’re always welcome to to be part of it! We try and make it as accessible as possible. This was a free event, hope to do it again next year!

And that’s a wrap for Summer in the City day 2 in downtown Everett!

We do these events for our community because we want to see positive things happen where we live. We try and help provide healthy opportunities for others by means of skating.

It was amazing to see how many people walked up to the booth asking for skates. Some said they haven’t skated in over 20+ years, for others it was their first time ever, and some had never skated outdoors before.

There were some falls but every single person got right back up. Skating teaches confidence and resilience and we saw a lot of that shine in people over the weekend.

Year 3 was successful and even sweeter with the help from our friends. THANK YOU ALL!!

When we’re headed out the door @derek_macias_ & I say, “we got our phones, keys, wallets, and skates!!” Pretty much the bare necessities to our lives.

Been posting maryhill video once a day. Finally learned how to make the video fit the entire screen! Haha I hope you’ve been liking them so far andI’ve been having fun making them.
