MEET TEAM 20. This one hits especially close to home. Literally. For Design Appétit's 20th anniversary, Focus on Home is bringing its own creative team to the table! Kelly Hunt, Heidi Plank, Joli Sanders, and Ashlea White are joining forces with returning Chef Alain Buthion of La Baguette Bistro for a collaboration that puts our mission front and center. Their inspiration? The Four Colors of Home: Dignity, Comfort, Stability, and Belonging. The team is transforming an ordinary shipping container into an extraordinary celebration of home. Through vibrant color, thoughtful design, and unexpected details, guests will experience how something simple can become something beautiful, welcoming, and full of possibility. Ten years of bringing Oklahoma City’s creative community together through food, art, and design. As Design Appétit celebrates its 10th anniversary, we had the opportunity to help shape the next chapter of an event that has become a meaningful tradition in our city, all in support of Focus on Home and the families they serve. Rooted in Focus on Home’s color palette, we developed a new brand identity designed to grow with the event for years to come. This year’s theme, In Full Spectrum, comes to life through DA20: 20 creative teams creating 20 immersive worlds, each bringing its own interpretation of color, design, and cuisine to the table. We’re proud to see this year’s event and the creative community behind it featured in Luxiere Magazine and The Oklahoman. Returning to Design Appétit, the creative trio of Christina Dehaas, Andie Baird, and Meagen Folkes of Live Boho is teaming up with returning Chef Gustavo Chang of The Sushi Goose for a collaboration that's anything but ordinary. Their inspiration? Whimsical Maximalism. Think bold patterns, unexpected details, playful textures, and layers of personality. A space that celebrates creativity without limits and proves that sometimes, more really is more.
