002-IFS-Byakko-White-Tigers

Transformed my InFightStyle Classic gloves into mythical tigers.

I recently got a new pair of gloves and didn't want these ones to end up collecting dust in the back of my closet. So I made them into functional art pieces. Technically, they should hold up to bag/padwork, but for now, I'd rather keep them for display—a reminder of the years of training I’ve put in and motivation to keep going.

My latest poster design for InFightStyle Cup Fall Classic on November 29, 2025.

Inspired by Marvel’s Secret Wars #1 (1984)—one of the most iconic battle covers ever drawn.

Just like that issue brought heroes together for a massive, high-stakes clash, this event brings the province’s top fighters into one ring for one unforgettable night at the Japanese Cultural Centre in Toronto.

Swipe to see how it came together. From the original photo to the custom lettering to the cover that sparked it. November 29th is where they collide. by @designermike

001-TWINS-Tiger-Original-Orange

Transformed my old Twins into tigers.

Experimented with Posca markers on one and @angelusdirect paints on the other. Definitely sticking with the paints for much bolder colour and durability.💥🥊

Ugh so much talk about AI making [lame, stolen copyrighted] “art” on the feeds lately. Well, you know what AI will never do? Fix your weak-ass switch kick.

Come train at @dmtyyz and get that switch-kick fixed. And while you’re there you can pick up one of these badass tshirts I designed.

And why yes, that is indeed the legendary ONE FC, Canadian Muay Thai fighter @jake_leestriking in the gym sporting an original Diamond tee with a typographic ode to golden era boxing gyms.

You are not your job. You are not your race, ethnicity or culture. You are not your gender. You are not your feelings. You are not an introvert or extrovert. You are not your hair or style of dress. You are not your music or the books you read or don’t read.
You are a dynamic being full of contradictions. Who you are can change depending on the context and circumstances. You are free to reframe and redefine yourself as often as it serves you and your purpose. by @designermike

No rest for warriors.

My latest poster design for @diamondcapitalpromotions Art of War 8 happening this Feb in Ottawa at the War Museum.

Featuring @punchko fight photography of last year’s A class main event winner @darrenjx_ ,custom type design and a bunch of photoshop. Always a blast making these posters. The venue for this fight event gets me every time! surrounded by war machines and a jet propped up over the ring. Great for shooting 😉📸

If you’re a fighter looking to battle under the bright lights @tony_disco and @ottawafightandfitness are the best matchmakers in the game. by @designermike
