NYC climate week! I’d love to see you. This is a topic very near and dear to my heart. We will discuss what’s happening on the legal fight for the endangered species act (with @earthjustice @benlevitan), the rights of nature (with @moth_rights ), how storytelling, art, and culture change go hand in hand with policy (with @roxizendegi from @designsciencestudio ) AND what I did and learned entering the movement to stop commercial whaling in Iceland. Now more than ever, we must come together to amplify each other’s work. It’ll be part discussion, part strategy session, and part experience—OFC I’ll be playing the bioacoustics 🐋 Please share! Full Solar Eclipse tomorrow 🐋 Visionaries gather from around the world under the moons shadow at the @icelandeclipse festival. The @designsciencestudio is honored to join this gathering at this important moment in history- when remembering our place in the cosmos helps us all to ground into what a miracle life on this planet is. For a few minutes day turns to night and we feel how connected we all are.

DSS Ecosystem Director,’Co-founder and ARTchitect, Roxi Shohadaee @roxizendegi alongside other DSS team will be gathered in the Snæfellsnes Peninsula for Iceland Eclipse (August 11-15, 2026). We are grateful to have been invited as partner guests of the festival, alongside their pre-festival incubator, the portal, for artists and scientists incubating works for the event. Beginning today- this five-day gathering blends science, music, art, wellness, and exploration around one of nature’s most extraordinary events.

We will be supporting of our team and DSS Evolutionary Alumni Eva Frye @iamevafrye of @climateshifted who is leading a Campaign: Awe for Whales before Icelandic Whaling Bill Vote 🐋 Shifting Icelandic sentiment on whaling through awe — before the autumn bill — TOWARDS anti-whaling, stopping fin whale hunting. Catch us sharing this Humpback Whale Bioacoustic immersive sound piece as a part of the campaign to protect the whales 💙

Beyond witnessing totality, this event is an opportunity to slow down, meet remarkable people from around the world, and experience Iceland’s landscapes through talks, workshops, performances and adventures designed to spark curiosity and connection.

We are also so excited to see so many from the @designsciencestudio family offering at the eclipse festival including @_tonycho_ @amandasageart @rubychase @snowravenofficial @angeladelsol @iamandagregory and so many more 🤲🏽🫂💙

I’m grateful to have been able to participate, contribute and connect with so many incredible visionary humans at the original Solar Living Institute land as we share visions and practical templates for a more regenerative future💫

Thank you to @roxizendegi and the whole crew for making this possible 🫶🐋🪶🌸🌈

I see the vision coming more and more into form as I see the network of design science systems constellating & connecting - the time is nigh for each to step up to what we came here to do💫

A grand weekend spent supporting and visioning an inter-dependent future.

Not only did my skills across event production aid @regenerarising success, the shared ethos and goals with my biotechnology immersion organization @936tech has me humbled and determined. I even heard a rumor that Leutewelt made an appearance to lead the after-party revelry through the night and into the dawn. 🤫

By the way, @936tech is needing your help. DM us your contacts in schools, science centers, and other places of education. We are setting a goal to scale to thousands of BioBlocks Starter Kits distributed around the globe by year end and your help makes this possible!

Feeling so grateful and inspired after the RegenEra Interdependence Summit 🌿💧✨

What a beautiful reminder of what we can co-create when we gather around a shared vision.
As an artist, I’m deeply grateful for the spaces that invite experimentation, where we can risk sharing something before it’s fully formed, trusting that it will reveal itself through the process.

This weekend I shared an iteration of a prayerformance I’ve been experimenting/working on for the past few years. If I’m honest, still doesn’t feel “ready.” But I’m realizing more and more that this is often how the magic happens; a vision comes alive each time we offer it our attention, each time we have the courage to share it, receive feedback, and let it evolve.

And having these 4 incredible sisters say yes to joining me at the last minute was such a gift. Watching the music become embodied through their movement & expressions is a dream come true.

Thank you to everyone who witnessed, danced, encouraged, and reminded me that art isn’t meant to be perfected in isolation, it’s meant to be lived, shared, and shaped in community 💜 taken in Hopland, California by @designsciencestudio
