NYC climate week! I’d love to see you. This is a topic very near and dear to my heart. We will discuss what’s happening on the legal fight for the endangered species act (with @earthjustice @benlevitan), the rights of nature (with @moth_rights ), how storytelling, art, and culture change go hand in hand with policy (with @roxizendegi from @designsciencestudio ) AND what I did and learned entering the movement to stop commercial whaling in Iceland. Now more than ever, we must come together to amplify each other’s work. It’ll be part discussion, part strategy session, and part experience—OFC I’ll be playing the bioacoustics 🐋 Please share! And in a sweet turn of events, we are opening up 10 seats for César’s law students- if you have the financial means to cover their tickets, please consider doing so as we’d like the community to come together to make it accessible for them. This is our moment ✨

We are entering eclipse season 🌙 … so what does this mean?

Rapid shifts
Resets
Timeline hopping

Things are going to re align at this time whether you fight it or embrace it.

So may as well align with the desired results!

Now is a perfect moment to zero in on what you are calling in

And gratitude is the most effective way to align with it!

It’s about to be a potent one!

Ps I made your theme song for this moment :) THANK YOU is liveeeeee

🌈 Digging around in the Eleprocon archives and artifacts this morning surfaced these correspondences with @buckyfullerinst and The World Game from 1988 & 1991… which eventually led to participating in the @designsciencestudio ’s Design Science Decade 2020-2030

Future of Us 🌱✨

After a powerful week at the Regenerative Interdependence Summit and retreat in Hopland, I had the chance to experience another inspiring layer of what is emerging in the Bay Area through the Future of Us festival in San Francisco.

From Andy Goldsworthy's beautiful exploration of belonging and integration through the colors of soil/Earth from different states, to conversations with the amazing Climate Designers community, I kept encountering the same invitation: to remember what truly matters.

At Futures of Care, that meant returning to the essentials: sharing food, being in service to something larger than ourselves, caring for a place together, making art, and creating community through simple acts of presence and participation.

At Play Along!, public spaces became invitations to play again — across generations, backgrounds and identities — reminding us that imagination, joy and curiosity are also civic infrastructure.

And at the Future of Us Wrap Party, I witnessed the result of a year and a half of listening to more than 1,000 people across 48 U.S. states, gathering visions for the future and translating them into a collective exhibition organized around shared themes and aspirations.

One special joy:

discovering that all of the amazing painted artwork was created by a Brazilian artist living in San Francisco, who i had the privilege to meet. Deep thank you @guileemes !!

What stayed with me most was this shared impulse across so many initiatives: reclaiming the essential, dreaming together again, and placing care at the center of the futures we are building.

Leaving these experiences, I carry with me a renewed sense of hope.

Deep gratitude to everyone making these movements possible, and to all those I had the privilege to meet along the way.

This journey also deepened my sense that the challenge ahead is not a lack of beautiful initiatives.

It is learning how to connect them.

How to weave them into living ecosystems of collaboration, coherence and shared purpose.

That is where the work of the Gaia Coordination Lab and the broader Living Architecture feels so relavant.

What did this moment do for your civic imagination?
