Last Thursday I had the amazing opportunity to do THEE @pinkycole makeup as she embarks upon her new location @sluttyveganatl coming to the Baltimore Peninsula. I’ve always admired her from a far because she’s a wealth of knowledge when It comes to the world of entrepreneurship. So to have her sit in my chair was an honor. Pinky, thank you so much for the opportunity! by @desimua

GLAM SESSION BTS: Getting ready for Day 1 of the FEARLESS FREEDOM BOOK TOUR!

Giving a nod to the iconic 1950s & 1960s glam era of the Civil Rights Movement!

At a time when so much was on the line for our rights as is now, it’s with pride to see how women showed up flawless with grace and class.

Today I had @dommiecole on hair and @desimua on makeup. It was my first time working with these young ladies and they executed in excellence.

BTS film documentarian @girlmeetsfilmm.

Before Jada’s funeral, I didn’t know her or her family. I was simply entrusted with the honor of helping prepare this beautiful young woman for her final farewell. I spoke with her sister @jasminesellers the day before I provided makeup service and her words were simply “I trust you”.

To Jada’s family, thank you for trusting me during one of the most difficult moments a family can ever face. It was truly an honor to glam Jada. She was so beautiful on the outside and carried so much beauty within.

Mortuary makeup is not easy. It takes a different kind of strength to show up for families in their moments of unimaginable loss. There are emotions that come with this work that are difficult to put into words, but I am always reminded of the gift God has graced me with. I don’t take the responsibility lightly. Being able to bring even a small sense of comfort to a family by making their loved one look peaceful, beautiful, and like themselves one last time is an honor I will forever be grateful for.

Jada, was a beautiful young lady, and it was my privilege to play a small part in your final goodbye. 🕊️🤍

May you rest peacefully, beautiful girl. And may God continue to give your family strength, comfort, and peace.

Forever grateful for this gift and for every family who trusts me to serve them during their most difficult moments.

Thank you @bmggg_ for the connection and referral 💕 by @desimua
