Finally, the NIFT 2026 counselling season has come to an end.

Every year, we tell ourselves that no batch can surprise us more than the last—and every year, our students prove us wrong.

This journey has never been just about securing admissions. It has always been about building confidence, discovering potential, embracing creativity, and helping young minds believe that their dreams deserve a place in the world.

To every student who trusted the process, worked through self-doubt, stayed up late refining ideas, and chose growth over comfort—this achievement belongs to you.

To every parent who placed their faith in us and stood by their children through every high and low, thank you for allowing us to be a small part of such an important chapter in your family’s journey.

At Desizn Circle , we don’t measure success only by results. We measure it by the artists, designers, storytellers, and creators our students become along the way. Watching each of you evolve has been our greatest privilege.

Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for believing in yourself.

Congratulations to our entire NIFT 2026 family. This is not the end of your journey—it is only the beginning.

With gratitude,

We at Desizn Circle International are super proud of every student and every team member who has contributed to one of our strongest results so far.

From the University of the Arts London to Parsons School of Design, New York, and from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore to Rhode Island School of Design, USA, our students have achieved remarkable offers across some of the world’s leading institutions.

This has also been one of the rare years in which we have received so many acceptances for direct BA programmes at the University of the Arts London, across prestigious colleges such as Central Saint Martins, London College of Communication, Chelsea College of Arts, and Camberwell College of Arts.

From scholarships of USD 25,000 per year to USD 40,000 per year, our students have secured outstanding opportunities through the strength of their portfolios, hard work, and dedication.

We are deeply proud of every member of our team for making this achievement possible.

And this is not the end yet — we are still waiting for a few more results, and we are confident that even more wonderful news is on the way.

Think fashion is only about designing clothes? Think again.

Behind every collection, campaign, accessory and retail experience is a world of designers, thinkers, innovators and problem-solvers working across different specialisations.

From Fashion Design to Fashion Communication, from Accessory Design and Leather Design to Textile Design, Knitwear Design, Fashion Interiors and Fashion Technology—each discipline explores a different dimension of the fashion industry.

Some designers work with silhouettes and fabrics. Others explore materials, develop products, build brands, design spaces or transform how fashion is manufactured.

And while these disciplines are interconnected, each offers its own creative language, technical skills and professional opportunities.

Through this visual course guide, Desizn Circle International introduces the eight undergraduate pathways associated with NIFT, helping aspiring designers understand what they can study and where their interests might lead.

Because choosing a design course isn’t just about choosing a career. It’s about discovering how you want to contribute to the world of design.

We had the honour of attending the Raymond’s show at Lakmé Fashion Week — an evening that perfectly blended sharp tailoring, modern elegance, and pure spectacle.

The runway came alive with Surya Kumar Yadav as the showstopper, bringing his signature charisma and flair to the stage. It was a powerful reminder of how fashion, confidence, and individual identity come together.

For our design aspirants, moments like these are pure inspiration — a front-row look at how craft, branding, and storytelling shape the industry.

Grateful to have been part of it.
Thank you @ankitakochhar1612 ma’am for capturing the moment .

The quiet part of the process is happening right now.
While most people are still talking about “starting the portfolio,” our students are in the final stretch — refining, editing, sequencing and compiling.

Touch-ups on sketches that already work. Reordering pages so the story reads clearly. Making sure every project shows process, not just the finished piece.

This is the stage that actually matters before the early decision and early consideration windows for UAL, Istituto Marangoni and the other international programmes. The work has already been done. Now it’s about clarity, confidence and presentation.

Portfolios don’t get stronger by adding more. They get stronger by knowing what to keep, what to tighten and when to stop.
We’re right there with them.

MINIMALISM | 10 ICONIC ARTISTS & WORKS

What happens when we remove everything unnecessary?

Emerging as a major art movement in the 1960s, Minimalism challenged the idea that art needed complexity, decoration, or emotional expression to be meaningful. Simple forms, repetition, industrial materials, and empty space became powerful tools of visual communication.

From Donald Judd’s geometric sculptures and Dan Flavin’s fluorescent installations to Agnes Martin’s delicate grids and Sol LeWitt’s systematic structures, Minimalism transformed the relationship between objects, space, and the viewer.

In this 10-part series, Desizn Circle explores the artists who redefined simplicity, their distinctive approaches to form and material, and the principles that continue to influence architecture, furniture, fashion, interiors, and contemporary design.

Because great design is not always about what we add, but what we choose to leave out.

SPOT WHAT’S MISSING? — EPISODE 02 🔍

Same masterpiece. Five missing details. How observant are you?

This time, we’re stepping inside Vincent van Gogh’s iconic The Bedroom (1888).

At first glance, everything looks exactly where it belongs. But look a little closer. Five details have quietly disappeared from this famous painting.

Can you spot all five? 👀

Art isn’t just about what we see. It’s about what we notice.

At Desizn Circle , we believe observation is one of the most important skills a designer can develop. The smallest details often make the biggest difference.

THE CHALLENGE:
🎨 Slide 1 — Study the masterpiece.
🔍 Slide 2 — Find the five missing details.
 Comment your answer !

How many did you find out of 5? Tell us in the comments. 👇

Because a good designer doesn’t just look. A good designer observes.

10 DESIGNERS FROM JAPAN & KOREA WHO CHANGED THE WAY WE THINK.

What if design wasn’t just about creating something beautiful, but about questioning everything we already know?

From Issey Miyake’s experiments with fabric and movement to Rei Kawakubo’s rejection of conventional beauty, from Tadao Ando’s architecture of silence to Ahn Sang-soo’s revolutionary approach to typography—Japan and South Korea have given the world designers who dared to think differently.

Their work challenges our understanding of form, function, culture, identity and technology.

A chair becomes an expression of craftsmanship. A garment questions the human body. A building turns emptiness into an experience. Even typography becomes a cultural revolution.

Through this 10-part visual series, Desizn Circle International explores the extraordinary minds whose ideas continue to influence generations of designers.

Because great designers don’t simply create new objects. They create new ways of seeing the world.

Huge congratulations to the talented students of @pearlacademy, New Delhi, for presenting their collection at Lakmé Fashion Week at the iconic Taj Palace!

Watching young designers take the runway with confidence, fresh ideas, and a strong point of view is always special. This is not just a showcase — it’s the result of countless hours of ideation, experimentation, craft, and hard work. From concept to the final walk, they’ve earned this moment on one of India’s biggest fashion stages.

Proud of every student who stepped forward and represented their institute with such passion. May this just be the beginning of many more milestones ahead.

To all design students watching — this is possible. Keep creating, keep refining, and keep believing in your vision. The runway is waiting.

Vaasuki Ohri (@vaasuki_ohri ) just shared glimpses of her campus life at NABA, Italy — and it’s pure design-school magic.

From the creative energy of the studios to the everyday moments of living and learning in Italy, these pictures capture exactly why so many young designers dream of studying abroad.

Proud of the journey, proud of the work, and even prouder of how she’s making the most of this opportunity.

Keep creating, Vaasuki. We’re watching and cheering. 🤍 taken in Italy by @desizncircle

SURREALISM | 10 ICONIC ARTISTS & WORKS

What happens when imagination takes over reality?

Born in the 1920s, Surrealism challenged the boundaries of logic, reality, and conventional artistic expression. Dreams became landscapes, ordinary objects turned extraordinary, and the impossible found a place in art.

From Salvador Dalí’s melting clocks and René Magritte’s visual paradoxes to the mystical worlds of Leonora Carrington and Remedios Varo, Surrealism transformed the subconscious into a powerful source of creativity.

In this 10-part series, Desizn Circle explores the artists who challenged how we see the world, their distinctive visual languages, and the ideas that continue to influence art, fashion, photography, and contemporary design.

Because sometimes, the most extraordinary ideas begin where logic ends.
