Most transformations don’t start in a gym.

They start in silence. In our own heads. Deciding we are capable of *trying*.

Destiny’s story isn’t about a before-and-after photo.
It’s about the courage to start when things feel heavy —
and the strength to keep showing up when no one’s watching.

Her story is one of consistency and bravery.
But before we say anything else, we want you to hear her.

Here’s Destiny’s story — in her own words:

“Before joining Burn, I was overweight, pre-diabetic, and struggling mentally. I knew I needed to take care of myself — not just for me, but for my kids. I tried other gyms, but consistency was hard without the right motivation.

From day one at Burn (June 2024), I was welcomed with so much support. Laura helped me every step of the way, which eased my anxiety immediately. While there were definitely hard days, the Burn community always reminded me why I started.

Today, I’m no longer pre-diabetic, my mindset has completely shifted, and my health is better than I ever imagined. I can’t wait to see what’s next in my fitness journey.”

Destiny, we are so incredibly proud of you.
Proud of the way you chose yourself.
Proud of the way you stayed consistent through the hard days.
Proud of the way your mindset shifted, your confidence grew, and your health followed.

This is what real change looks like.

The funny thing about milestones is that the number is usually the least interesting part.

We take pictures like this when someone hits a big number.

But…

What if what matters most is everything we can’t count?

Because we can’t count the first time she realized she was stronger than she thought.

Or the friendships made somewhere between walking through the door and grabbing a spot on the floor.

Or the confidence that grew little by little without announcing itself.

We can’t count every time she surprised herself, laughed through a camp, tried something new, or walked out feeling a little better than when she walked in.

And maybe that’s the coolest thing about progress.

So much of it happens while you’re busy living your life.

Then one day, you’re standing there holding a 200 and realizing… wow. Look how far I’ve come.

So yes, today we’re celebrating 200 camps. 💙

But mostly, we’re celebrating Destiny, and all the things that number could never tell you.

Congratulations on 200, Destiny. We’re really, really glad Burn gets to be part of your story. 🥹💙

How lucky are we to get a little bit of Destiny in our days?! 🥹💙

She’s the kind of person who walks into a room and instantly makes it lighter—equal parts fun, funny, and just the right amount of unhinged silly (in the best way). The kids in childwatch adore her, our team adores her, and honestly… we all probably laugh a little more when she’s around.

But it’s not just her personality…she shows up on the floating floor! She works HARD in her workouts, stays consistent, and brings the same energy to herself that she gives to everyone else. And somehow on top of that, she’s insanely creative and talented too?! Like… pick a struggle, Destiny 😜

She’s a joy. Truly. The kind of person you’re just grateful to know, and even more grateful to have on our team.
