We're celebrating another milestone for @olearia.morewell as the project moves into civil construction.

East Gippsland-based @whelans_group has been appointed to deliver civil works, supporting the delivery of 72 residential lots, including at least 10 per cent for affordable and social housing.

The appointment brings Olearia another step closer to delivering more housing choice for Morwell and the broader Latrobe Valley.

After closing to the public in 2024, the reimagined the Ian Potter State Theatre has reopened six months ahead of schedule, marking the first completed milestone for the Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation.

With accessibility and patron comfort at the forefront, the refurbishment brings new life to this much-loved venue while carefully preserving its significant heritage character.

Delivered in collaboration with Melbourne Arts Precinct Corporation (MAP Co), Creative Victoria, Arts Centre Melbourne, NH Architecture and Lendlease, this milestone demonstrates what can be achieved through strong partnerships and the expertise of everyone involved.

The reopening is an important step towards creating an even more vibrant and accessible cultural precinct for Victoria.

Take a closer look at the unique design features bringing the new Albert Park Pit Building to life – combining striking architecture, natural materials and spaces designed for both the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and community sport.

One of the standout features is the Plantation Oak MASSLAM (glue-laminated timber), supplied by Australian Sustainable Hardwood and made from plantation-grown hardwood from regional Victoria.

Head contractor, Icon, is bringing this striking architectural vision by Woods Bagot to life, by delivering a building that will become a standout feature of the local landscape.

Once complete, the building will feature almost 2,000 cubic metres of engineered timber, including 2,150 individual MASSLAM beams and columns.

The only way is up for The Avenue, Coburg!

Our four tower cranes – Rock Star, Bumblebee, Raffi and Rainbow Giraffe – are working hard to install the precast concrete for the walls of the four apartments and the second level of the build-to-rent building.
The basement has now been poured, and the communal open space is also taking shape with the concrete poured for the garden beds and benches.

Every beam, slab and steel frame brings us one step closer to delivering new homes and a vibrant new community we people can feel connected to where they live, with schools, parks, bike paths, shops and public transport close by.

We also wanted to thank everyone who reached out to find out more and ask questions about the new park coming to The Avenue. Community engagement has now closed, and we look forward to keeping you updated as the project progresses.

Stay tuned as we continue to build momentum!

A part of Melbourne's inner-north is about to get a whole lot better, and we're playing a big role in the transformation.

At Arden Central, we're helping to deliver a thriving new precinct with 5,400 homes, schools, sporting facilities, entertainment venues and so much more.

A Hamton and Hostplus joint venture has been appointed to deliver Arden Central, and they'll lead a consortium of partners and collaborators - including Live Nation Entertainment, Melbourne Victory Football Club, University of Melbourne's School of Design, North Melbourne FC, Coles Group, Symal Group and Icon.

Arden Central will be home to 10,000 residents with a mix of build-to-sell, build-to-rent, student accommodation and co-living - catering for a range of households and incomes right on the doorstep of the Metro Tunnel.

Not to mention the new state-of-the-art 5,000 capacity live music venue, delivered by Live Nation.

Inspired by the site’s cultural significance for Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Traditional Owners, Arden Central has been designed with Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Elders and communities from the outset, guided by the principles of Designing with Country.

Where do we come in? We're there every step of the way.

Between planning, local government, community and the private industry, there's a lot of gaps to fill. Gaps where we keep things moving, on budget, and aligned to the best outcomes for everyone.

Let's go Arden - we're in it for the long run.

There's progress on the ground at @silverbrook.md - with work now underway on a new nature reserve in Mount Duneed, co-designed with @wadawurrung.

The reserve will feature walking paths, open space and natural surrounds - creating a place for people to spend time outdoors and connect with nature close to home.

Planning is also moving forward for the northern parcel, with a planning permit application now lodged with the @cityofgreatergeelong.

It's all part of how we create communities that make it easy for people to get outdoors and feel connected to where they live.

Say hello to Raffi, Bumblebee, Rainbow Giraffe and Rock Star – the four tower cranes bringing @theavenue.coburg to life!

Thanks to the creativity and imagination of the Kids On The Avenue (KOTA) kindergarten class, our cranes will now have their names proudly displayed on their cabins 🏗️ 🌈

The ‘Name the Crane’ activity gave the children a fun way to be part of a project they’ve watched take shape right outside their kindergarten.

As @hickorygroup continues the build, the kids can look up, spot their favourite crane and give them a wave as they get to work!

Buy at The Avenue:

As The Avenue takes shape, more families have the opportunity to put down roots in this established Coburg community, with a selection of spacious three-bedroom apartments designed for the next chapter.

And for those thinking about making the move, The Avenue's 5% Developer Deposit Offer could make taking that next step a little easier. Explore the apartments now selling and discover what's possible for your family.

We're thrilled to have been recognised as the 2026 Excellence in Wellness - Major Project or Company of the Year at the @wellnessinfrastructure Awards.

The award highlights our Psychological Safety, Culture and Values initiative - which has been rolled out across major projects including the Ballarat Major Events Precinct, Armstrong Creek Sports Centre and the Albert Park Pit Building redevelopment.

By bringing project teams and delivery partners together from the outset to establish shared values, behaviours and expectations, we're embedding psychological safety and wellbeing alongside safety, risk, cost and program from day one.

Congratulations to our team members Michelle and Ben, and everyone across our Sports Infrastructure, Risk and HSE teams who brought this initiative to life! by @developmentvic

Designed by landscape architects @tractconsultants
and working with @merri_bekcitycouncil and Coburg locals, we've finalised plans for the park design at @theavenue.coburg.

The park will connect the community with trees, greenery and shade, open lawns for relaxing and playing, picnic and gathering spaces and nature-based play for kids.

And we wouldn't build in Melbourne's north without thinking of walking and cycling - the design also connects to the existing bike lane and includes a shared path and bike, as well as a drinking fountain and dog bowl for four-legged friends.

The Avenue, Coburg is designed by @hayball_arch and constructed by @hickorygroup, with building expected to begin in mid 2027 and finish by early 2028.

Homes are now on sale, and we're excited to put our stamp on Coburg. by @developmentvic

Four new multi-sports courts. Local jobs. A 5-star Green Star building. And delivered two months early ✅

The new Tarratarra Stadium in Armstrong Creek is ready to support basketball, netball, volleyball, pickleball, badminton and more ⛹️

It’s also been a win for the region, with local Geelong subcontractors playing a big role in bringing the project to life.

Delivering a project like the Keerray Woorroong Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre takes more than expertise alone. It requires strong partnerships, a shared vision and the ability to bring them together at scale.

It's more than a visitor centre - it's a place for people to connect with the landscape, culture and stories of this remarkable region, and its completion is a testament to the power of partnership and what can be achieved when so many organisations come together behind a common purpose.

We're proud to have played a role in bringing it to life.
