POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’ve been listening to them since 2011 and so I can’t explain what an honor it was to shoot the album cover and sleeve for one of my favorite bands. Released in November and and I’m just sharing these now because I’m slow.

Very honored to have my photo, “Ice Crea” included in this beautiful, hardcover book celebrating 70 years of Leica M.

A family friend gave me a Canon AE-1 in 2006, and not knowing anything about film, I googled “film photography.” Elliot Erwitt’s site was the first result, and I was exposed to a kind of photography that I didn’t know existed. It sent me down the rabbit hole of “Magnum photographers” @magnumfoundation and saw most of them shot with a Leica M. Not knowing why it was special, but seeing for some reason that it was; I promised myself if I stuck to photography for ten years, I’d buy an M6. So in 2016, I bought one.

This camera has made me work harder than anything else.

Honored to be included in this book alongside so many photographers with whom I look up to… and the photographer that introduced it all to me:

@elliotterwitt Thank you.
