In case you somehow missed the big news, lobster season is BACK at Bartaco! 🦞 Bartaco has all of their fantastic lobster menu items available now, including my favorite: the lobster and corn taco, which is filled with succulent lobster meat and the corn lemongrass purée on it is like nothing I’ve ever tasted before. This could be one of the most controversial posts I’ve ever shared 😳 I have a question for you: is there a food, food combination or meal that you absolutely LOVE but you only enjoy it when you’re alone and/or are afraid to tell others about it for fear of them thinking you are super weird? For me, it’s a jacket potato, specifically a jacket potato topped with either tuna or with @heinz British beans. An English jacket potato is essentially a baked potato with a super crisp exterior and a fluffy interior and it’s most commonly topped with butter, British baked beans and cheese but people also top it with tuna mayo too. I love it both ways and I’ve been enjoying it with TJ’s tuna salad for my lunch this week. It’s also my girl dinner of choice when Dan isn’t home. I cannot explain why this combination works so well but it’s SO darn good 🥔Would you try this? And what is your secret food combination that you love but are afraid to share with the world? The thing about me is that I typically order my coffee black or if I’m having iced coffee at home, I’ll add a splash of my current favorite creamer (Chobani s’mores, ILY). Once in a while I’ll treat myself to a latte on a day off or if we are traveling somewhere. Last week I was having a little “me day” so I treated myself to this iced pb and fluff latte from @seedeatsct and I fear it has become my hyper fixation 😜Most lattes are too sweet for me but this one is literally perfect, the peanut butter and fluff complement the espresso SO well, and it’s easily one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. I’ve already had it again and I’m already plotting my next visit. These long summer days call for easy meals that are both fresh and delicious. This is why I love Fresh Express salads! I love being able to throw together a quick salad and top it with my protein of choice. With the World Cup and July 4th coming up, I made this particular salad a little festive with strawberries, blueberries and goat cheese for a fun red, white and blue theme 🎉 This was perfect topped with a crispy chicken cutlet and a generous drizzle of balsamic dressing. The best book club meetings are the ones where we discuss the book for no more than 10 minutes and spend the rest of our time yapping about all of the things not related to said book 🤣 this particular book club meeting was spent at @heirloommarket where I devoured the tastiest breakfast burrito and sipped on a perfect iced vanilla latte ☕️ Do you belong to a book club? Did someone say it’s National Burger Day?! 🎉 I love burgers wayyyy too much so I figured I’d share a recent burger I’ve enjoyed out and one we’ve made at home that we loved too. 🍔 (out and about): @granary_tavern in Boston - Dan devoured this burger and let me sneak a bite, SO good and had the most pickles ever, which I loved 🍔 (home sweet home): @pinchofyum smashburger - queen Lindsay & co does it again!
