There is roughly nine trillion dollars sitting in retirement accounts doing almost nothing, and most people have no idea they can use it.

An old 401k from a former job can be rolled into a self directed IRA and put to work in real estate, crypto, or private businesses. Buy a rental inside it and the income compounds back tax free. The capital is already there. What is missing is the awareness that it can move.

The same blind spot exists on the raising side. What feels ordinary to you, flipping houses or paying a lender eight to ten percent, is extraordinary to someone sitting on idle cash. So talk about what you do, out loud and often.

Then talk about why. People do not only want returns. Plenty of wealthy investors will accept a smaller return if their money is clearly making an impact, because they want to be part of something larger than a yield.

Takeaways:
Check whether an old 401k can move into a self directed IRA.
Talk openly about what you do. Your normal is someone else's revelation.
Lead with impact, not just returns, when you raise capital.

Ashton worked really hard this year summer!

He picked up a bat for the first time in June and started taking baseball seriously, so we signed him up for lessons and put him on a team for this fall.

He learned how to hit, throw, run bases, and play as a team.
He didn't get a hit in the first five games of the season, but by the end of the season:
- He got hits in the last five games,
- Hit "missiles" in the last four games,
- Went 5 for 7 to end the season with some big hits into the outfield.
- Ended the season batting .333
- .600 OBP and 970 OPS!

It's been a long process, and he's growing day by day, but his excitement for the game is infectious, and I'm excited to see how he continues to grow. by @devin.robinson1

Happy Halloween everyone! by @devin.robinson1

The best AI just passed 10.8% of a real tax benchmark. That's the point.

Surge AI built 50 tax assignments with pros from PwC, Deloitte, and EY — nearly 1,800 files: returns, K-1s, IRS notices, even a photo of a handwritten receipt. The best agent passed 10.8% of the time, graded at 95%.

AI is good at answering the question you asked. It's worse at noticing the questions you didn't ask — which is exactly why you shouldn't let it do your taxes, and exactly why it's great at checking the person who does.

The move: before December, spend one hour with last year's returns and an AI, then walk into your next CPA meeting with five good questions.

I always say, it’s not the money that really matters, but the byproduct of it.

Also, my 2 year old son is a freaking STUD!!

After my workout today, I decided to try 100 double unders. I haven’t done them in 15 years, but they’re one of my favorite movements.

My goal was to go unbroken. I didn’t. But I knocked out some big chunks and got all 100 done.

That’s how I think about most things worth doing. Bite off more than you can chew, then learn how to chew it. You won’t hit it perfect the first time. You keep chewing anyway.

Still chewing. by @devin.robinson1

Remember this.

While you are doubting yourself, someone else is looking at you wondering how you do it all.

5 AI prompts that fix more than your inbox.

1. The Detective: figure out why you keep repeating the same bad habit.
2. The Other Side: see the fight from their point of view.
3. The Map: what to keep, what to drop, and one thing to try for 30 days.
4. The What If: run the big decision forward two years before you make it.
5. The Reset: separate what happened from the story you keep telling yourself.

Get to work. by @devin.robinson1

LeBron, Brady, and Bonds have one thing in common, and it isn't talent.

They kept going long after they had to. Rings, records, billion dollar deals. They could have walked away rich and celebrated. They didn't.

Most people quit when it gets comfortable. Greatness lives past that point.

That's the standard I'm taking into my business and my life.

Ever wonder where the flippers on HGTV get their houses? Not Zillow.

The numbers on Zillow rarely work for a flip. The deals come from wholesalers who go straight to motivated sellers, people dealing with a divorce, behind on payments, needing to move fast or needing cash. Wholesalers find them with cold calls, texts and those "we buy houses" signs, get the house under contract at a discount, and pass it to a flipper who still has room to make it work.

That's the whole game: reach the right seller first, and don't lose them when they say "call me later."

I run that game with Foresight, the CRM I built for my own wholesale team. Your lists, your dialer, your texts, your follow-ups and your pipeline, all in one place, so the seller who wasn't ready in March doesn't slip away by June.

One rule before you dial or text anyone: get consent where the law requires it and scrub your list against the do-not-call registry first.

Comment CRM and I'll send you a 30-day free trial so you can run it the same way.
