🚨Punters PSA To Make You A More Consistent Punter🚨

🦶🦶 Your steps determine where your drop will be at. We want to minimize crossing over with our steps. Once we cross over we have no choice but to swing across our body, which will result in a weird spiral UNLESS our foot matches up on the ball. Use shaving cream to draw a straight line down the middle of the field and try not to step across is it with your steps

🫱🏽🏈 Your drop should be a shade outside to maximize your linear leg swing. When we drop the ball inside that’s when we “chase” the ball. ONCE AGAIN the ball won’t spiral properly unless the foot matches up on the ball correctly

🧭🎯Directional punting should be easy!!! Identify your target line and step to your target. Your drop should go to your target!!! Most miss hits when it comes to directional punting happens from not stepping to your target line. Identify pre snap where you want to go and step to it and take your drop to your target

⚖️👀 Most importantly your balance and eyes must be disciplined!!! If we are falling back before we even make contact with the ball you’re losing power and control over the ball. Keep those shoulders from falling back at contact and SEE the ball off your foot

As a new class of Seniors start their practices this week in the state of KS, I’ve done some reflection from over the years. The first picture is one of my favorite photos and biggest core memory at the start. This group started out as our first group of guys working to improve their craft. We weren’t sure how it would go to be completely honest. @kickitlynch , @loganklusman , & and I wanted to give an opportunity for guys to come out to receive coaching in a position that has always been under coached. In our first camp the temperature was supposed to be in the low 30s. We had over 20 plus kids wanted to come out and get work in even if it was cold out. We were blown away with the turnout. We didn’t realize at the time how big of a need this was in the area even if it was going to be freezing cold.

Some in these pictures are still playing ball in college. Others have just started their college journey. Some have decided to hang up the cleats. The number one thing I see the most out of in these pictures is how a group of guys/coaches wanted to share the field with each other to get better. No matter what skill level they were, race, or age everyone treated everyone with respect. Little did they know at the time they were creating core memories they won’t forget.

Today we operate in 3 states to serve the need of players no matter what skill level or their goals are. I never would’ve thought we would be here today being able to use @trackmanfb and also develop many meaningful relationships in the kicking industry. We even had @jake_mcfarland27 of @adaptptpd use a radar gun to track ball speed before Trackman was around😂.

When you listen to players and lead/love them like Christ would, it’s amazing to see how their hard work pays off in the end. Let’s have a year and cheers to those who have helped us get to where we are today. taken in Kansas by @devinanctil

As we get to the end of Spring Ball it was great to see improvements on @trackmanfb since the beginning of spring ball with the Pitt State Specs. Ball Speeds and Height at the LOS were the biggest improvements to their performance.

Trackman gives these guys confidence to trust their swing no matter where they’re at on the field. Spring game ready next weekend ✅ taken in Carnie Smith Stadium by @devinanctil
