Weekend work with @ryan_austin017 & @_masonbecker4 on Trackman. @quinton_hardy16 came out to get some holds in for the guys. We are getting closer to the end of the season. The goal is to maintain and stay ready for each opportunity presented in a game. Both guys displayed great ball speed and height the whole day.

4th FG Unit Session in the books powered by @trackmanfb ✅. We have a new leader up top heading into the final session on 10/18. @ryan_austin017 dominated during the session. @colinzimbelman of @blbobcatfb and their crew scored 6 points which was the highest riser in the session. As always @quinton_hardy16 of Olathe South was there to hold.

We had a major emphasis on being below a 1.40 op time. Even if you made the kick if you were above a 1.40 op time it counted as a miss. Treat every rep you take with your unit just like a game. The more you operate above a 1.40 the more likely the kick will be blocked! Train to be uncomfortable so when you get into the games you feel comfortable.

Last session is 10/18 4:30pm Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. Reach out to join!

Midseason tune up with Kickers @battle.aidan & @jensen.honey_ of @ichabodftbl. Smooth consistent swings from the both of them. We worked on the leg swing path through the ball to achieve more consistent height and power. The numbers on @trackmanfb were incredible to see for instant feedback for these guys!

🚨GAME WINNER 🚨 Longtime trainee @kaleb.james04 of @sbubearcats_fb connected on a game winning field goal this past weekend to give his team a victory. We had trained for moments like this and Kaleb was able to capitalize on the opportunity given to him. Great work Kaleb👏🏽

Kicker @kaden.kiernan of @unk_football came into the lab during his bye to see where he’s at midseason. We had been working on before the season to stay taller on the plant leg and keeping the upper body more balanced. Love to see how he’s maintaining and hasn’t lost a step on his metrics on @trackmanfb

Kicker @luka_andonovski of @nwbearcat_fb came out recently for an in season tune up and see where he’s at on @trackmanfb. The main goal for in season work is to maintain. Luka has worked hard with keeping his upper body more level through his swing. This has helped him improve his ball speed and height at the LOS.

Kicker @asher_huffman07 of @mssufootball getting on the @trackmanfb to get an early season tune up. Asher has one of the strongest legs in the MIAA. He’s looking smooth and repeatable through the ball on his FG’s. His lift is continuing to get better so his height is consistently above 11ft LOS

2nd FG Unit Session in the books ✅. @haydencatholichighschool is in the lead with 4 total points.

The big message to the group was don’t become stick warriors. Go out before practice or after practice with your unit for 10-15 minutes at least. This especially needs to happen if your holder and snapper play a non-specialist position.

🚨BIG REMINDER TO OPERATE UNDER 1.40 SECONDS🚨

Next session 9/6 or 9/7 depending on the heat. Stay tuned ‼️

As a new class of Seniors start their practices this week in the state of KS, I’ve done some reflection from over the years. The first picture is one of my favorite photos and biggest core memory at the start. This group started out as our first group of guys working to improve their craft. We weren’t sure how it would go to be completely honest. @kickitlynch , @loganklusman , & and I wanted to give an opportunity for guys to come out to receive coaching in a position that has always been under coached. In our first camp the temperature was supposed to be in the low 30s. We had over 20 plus kids wanted to come out and get work in even if it was cold out. We were blown away with the turnout. We didn’t realize at the time how big of a need this was in the area even if it was going to be freezing cold.

Some in these pictures are still playing ball in college. Others have just started their college journey. Some have decided to hang up the cleats. The number one thing I see the most out of in these pictures is how a group of guys/coaches wanted to share the field with each other to get better. No matter what skill level they were, race, or age everyone treated everyone with respect. Little did they know at the time they were creating core memories they won’t forget.

Today we operate in 3 states to serve the need of players no matter what skill level or their goals are. I never would’ve thought we would be here today being able to use @trackmanfb and also develop many meaningful relationships in the kicking industry. We even had @jake_mcfarland27 of @adaptptpd use a radar gun to track ball speed before Trackman was around😂.

When you listen to players and lead/love them like Christ would, it’s amazing to see how their hard work pays off in the end. Let’s have a year and cheers to those who have helped us get to where we are today.
