My colours for the @westknits MKAL for 2026. I have decided to knit this years, for the first time, as I now have the knitting skills. I’m expecting to learn a lot too. If anyone knows some new swear words, I may need them! by @devonrexjo

My #tulleshawl is now blocking. This is a beautiful one skein shawl from @curioushandmade knit with left over yarn from my Susurrus jumper. The yarn is a 2024 yarn club from @daffodilroadyarn called Flutterby. Thanks go to @toniandmine for giving me this skein😘 by @devonrexjo

These are for the Nenya top by @marzena.kolaczek on Ravelry. I can wind up and cast on, just as soon as my silly wrists and hands stop hurting. I’m resting them and have bought hand/wrist supports on line today. by @devonrexjo

Velvet Loop sweater is finished, finished, finished. Pattern by @casualknitsstudio on Ravelry. Yarn is Drops Air from teekaysyarns in Queensland. They stock a lot of Drops. This was a lovely knit, a well written pattern and knit up fast on 6mm needles. I had to go up to get gauge. Now to get it to my daughter’s niece, who “ only wears black”! taken in Baldivis,Perth by @devonrexjo

The beautiful Sacred Prayer Shawl for a dear friend is completely finished. The pattern is by @saltcityknits the pink yarn is 4 ply Fiori from @yummyyarnandco and the mohair is @fibreartsshed which I bought at @knittopiagc on the Gold Coast earlier this year. I am so pleased with this and I know it will be treasured. taken in Baldivis,Perth by @devonrexjo

My latest finish. The Wildflower Tee from @elenormortensen knit in MSC from @naturalfibrearts purchased @cosycottageyarns The purple is ice dyed by me during a workshop @cosycottageyarns which I can highly recommend. This has to be my best colour work yet. taken in Baldivis,Perth by @devonrexjo

So. I entered the @yummyyarnandco Sockstice fundraiser and won third prize in my category! The socks were sold to raise money for @pinkangels.inc A dear friend asked for a shawl so I bought this Fiori skein with my $25 gift voucher. I’m going to wind this up and cast on today. by @devonrexjo

The yoke colour work is finished on my Wildflower Tee. This is a beautiful, well written pattern from @elenormortensen the purple yarn is unique as it was ice dyed by me. Including a tiny bit of orange dye that blew over from my neighbour! That’s a lovely memory thanks @leggingitau I have split for the sleeves so now just a lot of soothing stockinette in MSC yarn. #wildflowertee by @devonrexjo

My first @elenormortensen knit is the wildflower tee. I am using some yarn I dyed at @cosycottageyarns ice dyeing workshop with the lovely Cheryl @naturalfibrearts. The cream is natural MSC, also from Cosy Cottage. This s lovely slow knit. I really love colour work! by @devonrexjo

Here is Cathedral Grove Shawl on the blocking mats. What an enjoyable knit this has been! Thanks to @romidesigns for a well written pattern and technical help via email. Turned out I just can’t count! Yarn is from @cosycottageyarns both are @naturalfibrearts The brown is merino/silk/yak and the cream is merino/silk. Both are a delight to knit. In this late Perth afternoon sunshine, it should dry quickly. taken in Baldivis,Perth by @devonrexjo

My Cathedral Grove shawl is off the needles and about to have a bath. I’m really looking forward to blocking this and seeing the lace open up. Thanks go to @romidesigns for a beautiful pattern (10 charts!) and support by email yesterday. by @devonrexjo
