How does one celebrate their 48th birthday?

A look back at an absolute blinder of my last week spent across three cities!

In Salford for the most the joyous, funny, uplifting celebration of books and stories and children at the #salfordchildrensbookaward alongside superstar authors 😍

In London celebrating my younger daughter’s 15th birthday: pasta, cake, Hunger Games, hugs so many hugs 🥳

In Rome with my older daughter, meeting family who flew from across the pond - more pasta, more cake, chinotto, coffee ah the coffee and walking and games and so much fun 🤩

Was a hard to beat kinda week! by @devyani_nk

Day 2 of Authors on Tour in Leicester. I had the most joyful and fun time visiting Catherine Junior School and Dovelands Primary School.

It was such a special day where I got so much from the kids - cards that they made and smiles and laughter and SO many questions and hugs too! 🤗🤗

Thank you so much for having me. And a special thanks to @whateverittakes_leicester for organising. 💛💛🙏🏽🙏🏽

What do you do when you get a matcha latte for yourself and arrive at the table to find your friend waiting with a cappuccino they ordered for you?

You drink both, of course 😅 by @devyani_nk
