You’ll work across our project teams, bringing structure to the complicated wayfinding and Customer Experience touch points, solving interesting BIM puzzles, and help with the integration of data and design.

Building transit is about creating connected communities.

Coming out of the MPACT Conference inspired and even more committed to our mission of connecting people with places.

We attended a thoughtful session on wayfinding design, and it was inspiring to see the close collaboration between two of our main transit agencies in Ontario, Metrolinx and the TTC, and the shared thinking around creating more integrated and intuitive journeys.

Building transit is ultimately about more than moving people from A to B. It is about building cities, shaping public spaces, and creating stronger connections between people and the places they live, work, and move through. As a human-centred experience design company, DEXD is more committed than ever to making those everyday journeys better for everyone—one sign at a time!

Imagine if artists had a seat at the table from the very beginning.

Too often, art is treated as the final layer, commissioned after public spaces are planned and built. We believe artists should collaborate with planners, architects, designers, and communities from the start, enriching every stage of the creative process.

Yesterday’s gathering marked our first step in making this a reality: building relationships, sharing ideas, and discovering new ways to shape our city and its public spaces together.

What is your favourite public art installation in Toronto?
Discovery and connection with our cities often begin with something simple: slowing down long enough to notice the places, stories, and moments around us.

Public art does more than beautify a place. It invites us to pause, smile, reflect, and connect. It transforms movement through a city into an experience.
